    Thank you for a " players grade" lesson.
    No frills no Bs. No trying to figure out what you're teaching as you go.
    Well done

    This presentation is about the best you can get. Not only does he play the licks at different speeds, he puts it into a context and supplies the tabliture. I need the tabs the most so this was very useful. He's the king. Face it.

    Perfect. No BS, just killer licks shown in real context. Simple is best. Thanks so much!

    That was great. I'm learning slide on open D tuning. I find it a lot of fun. I'm also learning slide on open G. That's a little more challenging.

    Thanks for this great lesson! A lesson on the grooves you are playing after the licks would be great. Really hard to find cool grooves in vestapol tuning instead of the standard shuffles 😬

    Hi friend, I want to ask you a question, if you can help me.
    I have a Highway 61 from Republic Guitar, and I do not know what strings to put on it. Which model, brand or measurement ... 0.14, 0.16 ??? Can you tell me which is the correct string?
    The one I am using is Elixir Strings 80/20 Bronze Resonator Acoustic Guitar Strings w POLYWEB Coating (.016-.056)

    • @RJRonquillo
      @RJRonquillo  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on what tuning you are usually in, but I wouldn't go too heavy on the Highway 61. 14 or 15 would probably work best. I like basic John Pearse bronze strings.

    Another great video RJ. I have a question about your Triolian, hopefully you will see this. I have a chance at a used one that looks exactly like yours. How would you compare it to one of the more "traditional " Nationals as opposed to this one with the maple neck? Any noticeable sound difference to your ears?

    One time, just once, I want someone to say, "We're not going to tune up in the video. Go look up [the tuning], and then use a tuner to tune your guitar to [the tuning]. If you don't have a tuner, don't know how to Google [the tuning], or don't know how to tune a guitar, then this video is not for you. Click the links below for other videos that teach you that stuff." The only time tune up time isn't a total waste of time is when the video maker's guitar is tuned to something like A=432 Hz instead of 440. 😠
