I have times when I really am (like when they're sick or hurt) and other times when it doesn't come as easily. But you are going to love your child, and that (and God) will help you with all the rest of it. I'm sure you're going to be a wonderful mother!

One verse that may encourage you when you go into labor is John 16:21. It’s a great reminder that after the pain comes joy. And that’s really true! I don’t remember the intensity of the pain as much as the joy that followed. 😊 “A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.” John 16:21
I think the same applies to watching too many parenting type vlogs when baby comes. I got way too caught up in this and comparing my daughters progression to other children the same age. It took away from just enjoying the stage and created too much anxiety!
Love that you said that about technology. I am currently pregnant too and I’ve been talking about not allowing video games and tablets and I get laughed at over it. How do you handle that conversation?
Honestly, those convos are tough! And it might stem from some of their own guilt in this area. So I try and tread carefully and just make it personal to me and my choices
