Ironically Kaido was right and Oden and Yamato were wrong in this case. "Opening borders" would be like throwing Wano to lions.
It wasn't an issue during kaido's reign as only a handful of people can ever give a tough fight to kaido. Likewise his crew mates like king, queen, jack and other tobi rapo were also good fighters, deterring possible attacks

Well, to be fair, Mythical Zoans can create an element to attack, but they don't seem to be able to manipulate as freely as Logia users, who can give it any shape they want. Logia users can also morph their bodies into their element to move around gaps, and evade attacks. With good observation Haki, they can all do what Katakuri did since his fruit worked exactly the same as a Logia.
@@ValentinoMarino11 It depends on the fruit. For example, I'd rather have Kizaru's, Enel's or Aokiji's fruits, way more than I'd want Orochi's, Yamato's or Stronger's. Yamato can only create ice to attack and has limited manipulation of it (like covering her body in it), while Aokiji can create ice, transform himself into ice, manipulate it in any way he can imagine, and even freeze several miles of ocean.
I'd also say Logias are just as good if the user isn't completely useless and relies only on the fruit. People exagerate when they say Haki made Logia intangibility useless...that's wrong. It just meant Logia users now have to put in some effort to remain intangible. Katakuri's fruit (that works like a Logia) is the perfect example. If a Logia user has better observation Haki than the enemy, they're basically still impossible to touch.

Not as far as we know. Given various examples in the manga though, its become very likely that this was actually Yamato's awakened form.

@@m1_22ss Yamato's attack barely did anything to Greenbull. He was just surprised there was someone among them with decent attack power. Her advanced Conqueror Haki was inferior to the other users, since she couldn't even split the sky when she clashed with Kaido (unlike Luffy and BM) and said she had only read about that type of thing in Oden's journal.
Also, "Zoro neg-diffing Lucci" lmao. That was the longest neg-diff in the series then, because they were fighting for a while in a situation where it was more convenient for Lucci to stall, not Zoro. I also love how people just willingly forget that Zoro started out fighting Lucci using his King of Hell mode (advanced Conqueror Haki), and couldn't put down Lucci with it. Both were also panting by the end too. "Neg-diff" lol.
What most likely happened was that both went all out but couldn't take each other down quickly, and after they both started getting tired (ie Zoro turning off his KoH mode), Zoro outasted him and came up on top.
