I love playing this piece and I am in awe at how well done the composition is. Mr. David has a way of making a wind band sound full and lush which I admire for how difficult it is to do. Our high school will be touring this piece, thank you for the music and fantastic recording!
I had the honor of seeing the U.S. Air Force Band perform this piece in Columbia SC this week and was absolutely blown away by it! I'm glad it's on TH-cam so I can relive the experience.
@@Cadvolvo He’s not the only one with Columbus ties. Dr. David’s father, legendary Georgia band director Joe David, was one of my music education professors at Columbus State University.
@@theosmith1182 if you're in the area and want to hear this masterpiece, we'll be in Lassiter HS concert hall in Marietta tomorrow @ 7pm, then Athens and Columbus.

Currently working on this piece with the University of Utah Wind Ensemble, an absolutely beautiful composition to listen to and to play!
Truly fantastic. What a great performance of a great piece!
Thanks, Adam!
Fantastic performance of a wonderful new piece! I had the pleasure of performing this work recently with the Indiana Wind Symphony. Loved it!
That took me on a journey, I would love to program this piece!
Thanks!
Wow, James! Fantastic!
It's truly a fantastic piece! We are happy to have recorded it!
Thanks so much, Rob!
Bravo! Congratulations on this masterpiece!!
Thank you for the high praise!
Awesome! Looking forward to programming this piece next school year.
9:21 Is it just me or doesn't this part of the ending kind of sound like Respighi's "Pines of Rome" final movement ending?
Awesome!
Dude! Is the assistant principal horn Chris Brown from Columbus, Ga? If so, he was my drum major my freshman (his senior) year.
That's him!
