I still think that Enies Lobby Arc is the longest arc in the anime and video games, and I haven’t really read the manga to know the length of Enies Lobby, but the anime of Enies Lobby Arc has the same problems as Punk Hazard, but yet people still praise Enies Lobby as the perfect One Piece arc.

Fun Fact: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure has a longer story than piece. While One Piece has more chapters (1,010 that fit into 98 Volumes), JJBA has longer chapters (948 that fit into 129 Volumes). The reason One Piece (Anime) has more episodes than JJBA (Anime) is because David Production did a great job condensing the source material into episodes and released each saga. Toei Animation actively goes out it's way to stretch out One Piece events, stretch out arcs, and include filler.
The problem with the Fullbringer arc is that it was coming out week by week. I sat down to reread the whole thing and it is really good. It is pretty well written and the things Kubo was doing in it was smart. The week by week was what was holding it back since nobody gonna go back and reread every time a new chapter comes out and it ruined the flow.
Crazy part is that fullbringer arc isn't the worst arc...I have a vendetta against the new captain arc. It was a literal filler season that interrupted the coldest fight in the hueco Mundo arc (ulquiorra second fight)

It’s funny how who you watch a arc which can change your opinion on it, I finished punk hazard forever ago but they recently finished dubs for that arc so I re-watched it with my daughters in English and they loved it with the kids and the candy the wacky animal pirates Law helped get mobile again (which to me was a hint to smiles), the dragons and kinimon being half torso half bottom and the whole vibe still felt one piece but in a way it was like a Saturday morning cartoon with a lot of the zaniness but still making connections on the way and now I think it’s 1 of my favorite arcs. In my opinion other than the fisher tiger part, howdy jones and his gang killed fishman Island arc for me.

The thing that makes One Piece different to me is the fact that the fillers fit into the story like sometimes when I watch it I don’t realize that I’m watching a filler. A good example of this is the G8 arc which I didn’t even realize it was a filler because of how well it fit. Whereas like Naruto you can always tell it’s a filler because it shoots to a random place in time. One Piece keeps its story going, and it never goes backwards. It’s an incredible anime, and one of a kind. Also people don’t realize that if you watched all of the Naruto series (Boruto included) that it’s almost 1000 episodes as well, but that’s not too long?
That’s cap, them Japanese cultural festive fillers op had in the enies lobby arc were clearly filler. Same with the kids getting lost in the rainbow mist or the dream stealer where they lost they memory. Naruto has obvious filler but they have the ones that fit into the story too like the gurren arc, the sora arc, the arc between the tsunade and sasuke retrieval arc.
SAO is broken up as follows: S1 episodes 1-15: Aincrad arc S1 episodes 16-24: Fairy Dance arc S2 episodes 1-15: Phantom Bullet arc S2 episodes 16-19: Excalibur arc S2 episodes 20-24: Mother's Rosario arc S3: Alicization arc S4: Alicization arc (War of Underworld) So you can absolutely break up the first season and call Fairy Dance the worst arc, which it is, and you can break up the second season to call the Excalibur "arc" the worst as well, which it also is because it's not even meant to be an "arc" it was just a short story that the animators made into 4 episodes for some reason.

Start with the manga because telling someone to start One Piece from ep1 is like telling them to “start Pokémon and I promise the for-kids stuff ends around episode 100”
One Piece is my favorite anime, but even I say that it can definitely be condensed. In most episodes, only like 10-13 minutes total contains actual important screentime. This 900 episode anime could definitely be condensed down to 500 episodes. (Which may still seem daunting to most other people, but it's better than 900.)
It definitely can not be condensed to 500 episodes the amount of shit that has happened is a lot more than what has happen in naruto and naruto is 750 episodes long

Rip off the scenes with minions getting clapped over and over and shrink down another 50, and remove the scenes where luffy is fuckin around just for the pace(non manga scenes) and we shrink another 100 at least(katakuri fight should be far less longer if the pacing was correct, and for me would be a better fight in general).

It’s funny how who you watch a arc which can change your opinion on it, I finished punk hazard forever ago but they recently finished dubs for that arc so I re-watched it with my daughters in English and they loved it with the kids and the candy the wacky animal pirates Law helped get mobile again (which to me was a hint to smiles), the dragons and kinimon being half torso half bottom and the whole vibe still felt one piece but in a way it was like a Saturday morning cartoon with a lot of the zaniness but still making connections on the way and now I think it’s 1 of my favorite arcs. In my opinion other than the fisher tiger part, howdy jones and his gang killed fishman Island arc for me.

The thing that makes One Piece different to me is the fact that the fillers fit into the story like sometimes when I watch it I don’t realize that I’m watching a filler. A good example of this is the G8 arc which I didn’t even realize it was a filler because of how well it fit. Whereas like Naruto you can always tell it’s a filler because it shoots to a random place in time. One Piece keeps its story going, and it never goes backwards. It’s an incredible anime, and one of a kind. Also people don’t realize that if you watched all of the Naruto series (Boruto included) that it’s almost 1000 episodes as well, but that’s not too long?

One Piece is my favorite anime, but even I say that it can definitely be condensed. In most episodes, only like 10-13 minutes total contains actual important screentime. This 900 episode anime could definitely be condensed down to 500 episodes. (Which may still seem daunting to most other people, but it's better than 900.)
