Interesting tidbit about the "nude jogging", in Germany anyone can opt-out of their home or buisness being shown on streetview because of privacy rights. This makes it much more expensive for Google to photograph the cities and therefore Germany is barely covered at all compared to its neighbours.

One of the few things I (as a Brit) know about Boston (and I think New England in general?) is that its road layout is almost as chaotic as European cities (certainly when compared to the much more grid-like layout of US cities further to the west), so that one jumped out at me almost immediately

San Antonio isn't that bad, It's just like every other large town in TX. I've had a house in Austin all my life,(moved around a lot cause of dad's work) and I'd tell you the same thing. "ehh it's okay. Fun place if you like to ride motorbikes in the hill country, but sides that I can take it or leave it." The one thing that large cities in TX have is comparing themselves against Houston. And in that reguard, we're all winning.

Smith poking fun on the US for their "historic" churches being new is amusing.
I remembers someone in the past calling an US mansion ancient, one of the oldest in the area, and it was around 100 years old.
While I'm over here in Europe with a family farm we spend much of our summers on with several houses at around 120 years old.
It's fairly old, sure, but even in the surrounding area there are multiple older ones and a 300 year old church, which we'd consider fairly new for a church as the main church in the city we live in is 600 years old.
