I do this tuff semi-professionally as a wilderness guide and instructor. My wife and I are hoping to continue doing this with our new comer…. So we are new-bs at camping with an infant…….your video was super helpful and encouraging. Thank you!

"listen, we're in our 30s now" girl, same. In my 20's I had no problems sleeping on the cold hard ground. Not anymore! REI sells a really nice queen size air mattress. It's a little pricey but worth it! It's the Kingdom Insulated Air Bed.
Pretty sure that was just a tarp we borrowed from a friend. We also love this sand-free mat with weighted edges for all things outdoors: amzn.to/3wkVShF

Late to the party but we are actually just using the plastic plates from target that are like $.50 a piece for our camp plates and bowls.

Well done! 4 kids is not easy. I am trying to convince my wife to go camping with the very small caravan. So for us, it is an upgrade :)
You can do it! My husband and I were talking about getting a camper van or pop up camper to make future camping trips easier. Maybe someday!
