These compressors are notorious for having weak front shaft seals under vacuum .

i once was recharging a system and it was only to about 60% capacity and i noticed the suction pressure was at 100 psi sometimes over or a little less and the fist time was with a smaller system and it blew a barely a few deg cooler air out of the vents but based on google that pressure should be below 30 psi single it was still low on freon and when i fully charge the system it blew cold not as cold as it should but to be fair the cabin was not cooled down let the suction was in the 40's but i suspected a weak compressor due to lack of oil return due to low freon as the car was used and ac works just very badly and I'm noticing sounds from the compressor and the ac seemed to never be serviced before telling me that it prob was running low on freon for quiet some time so i brushed it off btw i never tested the compressor so i can't say if it's bad or not yet just suspect it and I'm not going to guess it either.
Then with the 2nd car i charged the system and to little over 25% capacity this was a bigger system it was a coolish day and the vents blew cool not cold but to most they would considered to perform ok the suction was at 100 psi i added 60% charge 12 0z which was all the can had and the suction was still high but now the vents blew very cool still not cold yet but i expected that and now the suction line was cold the air out the vents was very cool but yet my suction was still at 100 and again google says that low charge = lower suction pressure but that not what I'm seeing but now I'm not concerned because i know when i add the full charge it will blow cold that pressure will start to drop to normal for that car under that specific conditions assuming the compressor is good which i did not test but now i can't trust google at all I'm left to experiment my self to get accurate answers these I learned from you that low charge affect smaller systems more than larger ones and i confirmand that for my self but i also learned my self to never trust google when it comes to hvac nothing seems accurate at all not even Ai that supposed to be so smart.

This type of knowledge only comes through experience. It can't be taught in schools
This was taught and demonstrated to me by my father back in the late 1970s.
It depends what school you go to and a level of education of your instructors in your school .
My father went to John O’Connor trade school in San Francisco in the late 1950s early 1960s .
My father was also fortunate to have two older mentors when he was a young man who already had 30 years of experience who were instructing him one under a apprenticeship program, and one was a elder gentleman who is a mentor and friend of his .
All this information and knowledge was always around. It always existed. .
It all depends was in your network of mentors that makes the difference .
I want to get all this knowledge out there to everybody around the world who is interested interested in wants to learn .
Because many people do not have the opportunity to be working under a structured apprenticeship program
Not everybody has the advantage of having well instructed formally educated mentors to work under
Not everybody has good in a school program to go to nearby .
So I wanted to deliver all this knowledge to everybody who has a cell phone or a computer screen in the most distance far off old country who need help to make a better living and a better life for themselves and their families .
