sword is a symbol of Jihad in the path of ALLAH.. Jihad is one of the most important, noble and greatest obligations of a muslim.. The media has made us muslims look like blood thirsty terrorists who like to cause fasaad on earth for no good reason.. and sadly even our fellow young muslims are starting to believe them. I agree that some non knowledgeable muslims do take the meaning of jihad in the wrong way making the whole ummah look bad
