It’s really refreshing to hear you talk about using up products you already have. Idk what it was this past holiday season but I felt like the consumerism got out of control! I felt like I just couldn’t stop buying shit I don’t need lol. I’m right there with you, using products I have at home before I buy anything else!
Totally agree. Even seeing all of the gift guides seemed so overdone and filled with shit we don’t need 😅😂 love a good pamper and a treat for SURE but no longer into buying things that we allllreeeadddyyy have in a diff package 🤷🏼♀️
I did a lash lift and tint a couple years ago and it completely ruined my lashes and left them all kinked. I let them all grow back out over a few months and tried a different place and the same thing happened! It was awful. Your natural lashes are so gorgeous- my tip is to curl your lashes at multiple points in your lash (root, middle, end) and give them each a few small pumps. It’ll look so natural. Then use waterproof mascara! This is key to keep your lashes curled!! I suggest the L’Oréal telescopic, Lash paradise, or the collossal cheetah print one. I really hope you read this and try it out!!! :)
Same thing happened to my naturally long thick lashes! I did a lash lift and now my lashes are short stubby and grow straight out or wonky. Totally ruined my lashes. They won’t come back like they were either. I’m so bummed
After years of curling my lashes with an eyelash curler my lashes left ruined. I need some lift to my lashes for a open eye look. I stay with professional lash lifting..no tension every morning on my lashes for me.
@@su5329yeah for me to.. I have thick and long lashes but they are soooooo straight!! I have to over use a curler which ruins them. Started with eyelash lift about 2.5 years ago and never gone back. I agree the lashes get wonky when the effect goes out, but then I do a lift again and it looks all good again 😂

I've finally gotten serious about doing project pan realness: figuring out how long I've actually had things, when they were purchased/for how much, and using things BEFORE buying anything new. it's amazing how the merry-go-round of YT has had all of us blindly buying things without intention. Hi lovely!! With your lash curler, instead of clamping down on your lashes, try doing a few light pumps. It keeps the lashes from being a stark bend and more of a naturally voluminous flutter. It’s my go-to method!!

when you curl your lashes, do it in small sections. I usually start from the root and clamp 5 times all the way to the end with lighter force.

I did a lash lift, and loved it! thing is... I don't know if it's a self-love journey or something, but I came to love my natural lashes, and don't think they are dull for being droopy. It's just... the effort and money I have to put into going there and doing the procedure is not worth the end result even though it's pretty. They are pretty on their own as well, and can be glammed up if done with some mascara. (which is not really a daily thing for me so...)

Did some research for you. Try Makeup By Mario Dmitry lipliner as an alternative to Nude Beige (original). I swatched them side by side on my lips and they looked verrrry close.

For extra dry days in Colorado winters I use the Kinship self reflect probiotic moisturizing sunscreen. It’s SOOOO hydrating gorgeous cold DRY winter days.
I have done the lash lift a few times. My first time. It was horrible second time I went to a different place and it was perfect!!!!! She told me that the fort person over processed my lashes (which is true) but going to the correct person is key. I loved them. Never had damage after that

Love this look with the stage 2 eye and the stage 1 lip haha. I was influenced to try the Dior Forever skin glow foundation. I think my nose can get a liitttle too oily for it but love it for the rest of my face. Tempted to try the dior rosy glow blush as well, but I, like you, already have so many blushes
The foundation is beautiful and gorgeous but I think the blushes are a tad overhyped. I know they recently changed the formula too and I heard the original is better. However I found the original to be too powdery and it looks powdery on my skin. After using creams for years, I didn’t like the look it gave me.
Have you ever tried Lanolin on your lips? It’s honestly more hydrating and long lasting than any other product I’ve tried and soooo much cheaper

My lashes on the outside corners point in on both sides because I alternate sleeping on both sides. I also stopped using a sleep mask because it made my lashes look terrible. Since I stopped using the sleep mask my lashes look so much better and fanned out.
Charlotte Tillbury liner in Iconic Nude is theeeeee perfect cool nude without being too brown. Matched my natural lip perfectly

I used to love the Skindinavia one (their original formula). Unfortunately I've developed allergies to some common skincare and makeup ingredients, and I can't find a fixing spray without the things I'm allergic to. But try the Skindinavia if you haven't!

Love the idea of injecting more colour whether through your makeup or wardrobe, but I don’t know if I can do corals or bright oranges again (minus Picante ofc) because I’ve associated it to times when I just turned 18, so those colours will just remain back there and then for me, at least for now haha

The isle of paradise self tanning drops are a super easy way to stay less ghostly in the winter, I don't use much like three drops in my moisturizer in the evening
I used to have eyelashes that pointed down and crossed each other, and couldn’t even wear mascara, because it made my eyes looked almost half closed and photographs. After having a double mastectomy, and being forced to sleep on my back as I healed, my eyelashes literally literally straightened out and started curling back up! It absolutely is a thing!

I am an esthetician and yes your lashes can start to rub and kink from sleeping on them as well as your brows. When ever i have a new client I could always tell what side they favor sleeping on. If you put a pillow under your knees it helps to keep you on your back more comfortably while sleeping. If you do a lash lift be sure to get a referral from someone you trust because I had a really awful experience w that but I also found someone amazing that really prioritizes the health of my lashes. Hi, with your eyelash curler, start at the base, give a little squeeze, then bring it up into the middle for the second squeeze, and then the top for third, you will get a much rounder lift, and not that horrid square ridge from one squeeze. Xx
Lip liners suggestion: try Whirl from Mac (cool pinkish nude) and/or Charlotte Tillbury’s Iconic Nude (cool beige) if you haven’t!

I tried the Luxe Cosmetics Lash Lift and Tint kit that is all over Insta and it is wonderful. My lashes are longer, curled and black like I've got on mascara. Wonderful product and super easy to use.

Abt eyelash curler, u can put the smallest amt of a serum and make sure u keep it clean so u don’t feel like it sticks Also have used Maybelline curler forever Tried them all , they are the best As someone said, pump few times Done ♥️
Try a keratin lash lift (I go to a lady in Port Moody) and they’re so gentle on your natural lashes! I’ve gotten dozens of them over the years and my lashes are still super healthy and long.

Like you, I am obsessed with cream blushes and my powder blushes haven’t been touched in eons! Bare Back is my “go to” as well. Love your makeup style, I’ve definitely taken some inspo from you. 😊 I just got the brown YSL mascara, can’t wait to give it a try. Love a soft brown mascara.

I have exclusively slept on my side for at least the last 20 years and personally I haven’t found my lashes have dropped. You have lovely lashes so I don’t think you need a lash lift.
I love to see stuff being used up! Like, whats better than a rinky dinky looking ass eyeshadow palette, all dug out and messy looking! It's the real testament to our love of the makeup, and shows how good a product is to that person. I feel like it's a bit hard to take influencers' raves and reviews seriously when I see them rave about stuff and you never hear about or see on their channel again. Sharing the same makeup mantra for 2024: using stuff up before purchasing a new version of it! (Except blush. I love to have a little blush library)

I use la Roche posay too but I feel like ours must be different here in the states . I use the anthelios ultra light spf 60 and it’s thin but it’s white not yellow and it’s actually on the moisturizing side. I use a little gel cream under it and my skins prepped . And the bottle is thin and small but yours looks wider . Maybe the different countries get different products . I like mine. That’s too bad you can’t get ours ! It’s higher on spf than the Canada ones and it’s so smooth ❤

I feel conflicted with a lash lift too. See so many good results but then equally as many bad results. Cream blush is just the most natural, especially in winter with dry skin.

same i have very dry skin and eczema, but when i wear makeup it gets oily in the t-zone

I m using DRMTLGY universal tinted moisturizer spf 46 . Very light tint. Then just use Nars soft matte concealer for a little lot coverage. Works well with all the skin care I use. Elf luminous putty blessed have my heart right now. ❤❤❤

Omg I just got myself a lash lift as a Merry Christmas to me and I LOVE ITTTTT. I always had a good natural curl but lately not so much and I'm the actual worst at using a curler. The lift has been amazing. 5 weeks later I still have lift.
Do your research for the lash lift for sure! I’m an esthetician and I specialize in lash lifts and I have seen some tragically over processed lashes but I swear by a good lash lift. I can’t imagine my life without one!
