He calmed my storms and made me feel secured. The feeling was surreal---"it felt familiar, felt like HOME".
Sadly, he was diagnosed with brain tumor and after his operation, he had a memory loss and he also lost his vision. Things got so difficult. But this song always reminds me to carry on and fight for us.
Still praying that in the right time, things will finally go back into place. 💛

I came from a failed relationship until I met my now-fiancé in 2021, and we always listened to this song early in our relationship since we both believed in God's perfect timing. Last Saturday, April 22, 2023, he proposed to me while this song was playing. I was crying while saying yes. Indeed, it's the right in everything especially in love. Right Time is like a prayer. I've been waiting so long for a kind of love to find me. It feels like eternity to be in the waiting season. Darating ba? Hindi ba ako worth the risk? Then, I've realized - while in solitude - that maybe my late 20s would have been about self-rediscovery. That maybe this is the time for me to explore and to carry the world by myself. And along the way, I'll meet the love that would fight for and with me. If that time did not come, I would thank the universe for giving me the heart that is willing to have a capacity to love - even if its always unrequited.

Back in 2018 my then suitor now fiancé confessed his feelings for me while one of Sir Johnoy's songs was playing in the background. It was a complete coincidence but the song was "Ang Pagtatapat". When I heard it, I chuckled which made him even more nervous that time. A few hours later both of us went to a benefit gig for The Noche Buena Project where Sir Johnoy was scheduled to play. As soon as he sang the first few lines of Right Time, I felt like he was singing directly to me. His words felt familiar, they felt like (they hit) home. And when he sang the lines "It's the right time to fall in love again", I just smiled. At that time I was single for 3 years, guarded and afraid to fall in love again because of a failed 7 year relationship. But Sir Johnoy's words made me think that maybe it was indeed the right time to take a chance on love. And now 3 years after, I'm so lucky to have someone who stays and has lifted me to heights I've never known. I am glad I heard Sir Johnoy sing this song that one faithful night and made me realize that it is always the right time when it is the right person. My fiance and I would always have a special connection with this song and with you, Sir. How much would it take for you to sing at our wedding next year? Chaaaar 😂 Keep making songs like this Sir, your music deserves to be heard.

It’s been 1 year already since I first heard this song. I was at my lowest that time (got 💔) and when I listened to this, I promised to myself I’ll never fall inlove again unless it’s the right time, unless I am whole and ready to try again. That heartbreak was a trauma to me that I keep praying to God to only allow my heart be opened when it’s the right time and with the right person.
Since then, my ideal relationship is anchored in this song. I told myself that when “it feels familiar and feels like home” then maybe that relationship is the answer to my prayers.
Damn this song is underrated. It's one of the best acoustc love songs ever it moved me. The music video nailed it it's just perfect
