  • How to make cow poo liquid fertiliser
Learn how to make a potent, organic cow manure fertiliser that you can use on your fruit trees. This method uses herbs (and you can use weeds too) as well as the cow poo, and everything is put into large 200litre drums. You then add water to it, and you let it sit and then after a few months you have this incredible organic liquid fertiliser. You can then scoop or pump the cow poo fertiliser around your edible garden. This is such a simple way to get the goodness of cow manure into your soil, and can be used in your vegetable garden or orchard and your plants will love it.
It is so easy to make, free (if you have cows!), and its organic. This technique has been used by generations of farmers who grow organic home-grown vegetables and fruit. As backyard gardeners we can supercharge our home-grown produce with this simple technique. Why not give it a go?
If you love growing your own food, and are wanting more backyard vegetable ideas why not follow us on the Samford Edible Garden Trail. This is a community initiative where we visit veggie gardens in Australia, share ideas, with the hope to inspire more of us to grow more home-grown food.
