We need to know history in order to make a better future and learn mistakes from the past.
I’m looking forward to a world that everybody can spend peaceful days.
War should not be repeated again and nuclear weapons around the world should be gone.
It is difficult to make a big change alone.
However, if we can pass "Peace" from one person to another regardless of race, I believe that the world can change a little by little.
Let’s make OUR world a better place.
I hope this message can reach to people around the world watching this video.

2:45 No he did not actually! Good question. He actually had a much longer moustache as can be seen in some of his photos from WWI. He got injured pretty badly in a gas attack during WWI and the theory is that this is why he kept his moustache shorter from then on. (With a longer moustache, he couldnt make a proper seal wuth a gas mask.)

Having served in the US Army 07-12, I completely agree with your final statement. I do feel that war is sometimes necessary but that is only because of how people are (greed and power hungry). If people could stop being like this, there would be no need for war

Yes it is very different in the U.S. Most of us are aware of the many fronts of the war and the importance of them, because America fought in most of them. The war Japan fought in Asia was just a small part of a bigger story. There was fighting in the Atlantic Ocean, in Africa, in Western Europe and in Eastern Europe in Russia. It’s good to know about the many other perspectives of the war.

Hitler got the mustache because during ww1 he was attacked and survived a mustard gas attack however his very large mustache almost got him killed so he shaved the sides off so it would look like Charlie Chaplins who he was a fan of and so that the gas mask would always fit when ever he would need it to again

the fact that france and england both declared war on germany when it invaded poland, but did NOT declare war on the soviet union, shows that they both wanted war with germany as well. this alone is proof enough that the germans are not to blame alone.

They got a lot of battle of Britain stuff wrong. Britains situation at the beginning of the battle of Britain was really pretty good. People always mention the disparity in the number of planes but Britain had a much better way to replace it's planes and it's pilots than Germany. Asked after the war, British pilots who took place in the battle of Britain said there was never any time that they did not have all the planes they needed. Junior British pilots were also trained in the North before they were put on full squadron duty in the battle areas. They were also taken off the line and allowed to rest up in the North. The British also had a lot of allies and the first fully integrated air defense system which worked very very well. The Germans had none of these things and most importantly they didn't have the Lord Beaverbrook organizing the supply of new aircraft. Basically, the Germans thought they were all that and the spanked them, hard.

The mustache was a fashion statement but shaving it the way he did had to do with wearing a gas mask back in WW1. If you had too much facial hair you couldn't get a good seal on your gas mask and it would end up killing you. Which is something that did happen to a lot of people during the war.

It is interesting to hear that in Japanese schools, just as in our German schools, there is almost only talk about their own country during WWII. It is important to learn from the past and I think it is a shame that many countries do not want to process their history or learn from the mistakes of others. It also annoys me that many people don't want to learn history.

History is important to remember. I am angry that American schools are no longer teaching about the Trail Of Tears. (An American Atrocity agains native peoples).
I have heard that in Japan the Nanking Massacre and Comfort Women are not taught about. Is that true? If so, please take the time to educate yourself. History is vital because those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it
