In uk and Europe, drinking kinda starts around the age of 13 onwards. Party places like ayia napa, Benidorm, Zante, magaluf, etc have legit no laws when it comes to drinking and drugs. Shops sell everything to anyone no matter their age because it’s all about money.
I went to Zante when I was 17 which is when everyone tends to go to these places as they finish school and head to university, like one last dance with mates type beat. Also parents are less strict here because they would’ve done the same when they were teens so it’s not that big of a deal drinking here
The reason they were scared is cuz pretty much every 16-17 year old British/Irish student goes to aya napa after their exams. Which is why no adult travels there during this period
Steph.....there is no tipping culture in Europe. You don't have to tip anywhere (except a restaurant but thats still optional). No one expects tipping.

Guys, it's Switzerland, not the USA. You don't have to tip the workers if you go to such an expensive establishment. They already get a high enough salary that they can live from. No one expects you to tip the valet or personal server when you go to the Chedi. Sure some still do and you can if you want but it's definitly not expected from you. We do tip servers in regular restaurants or bars but not nearly as much as in the US because, again, servers here make enough money that they can life from their regular salary and don't have to rely on tips.
I’ve just had the lads holiday experience this year (absolutely loved it). It’s definitely a right of passage to go to one of those destinations once you finish school!

Loving the reactions, i moved to cyprus 8 and a half months ago and its a beautiful place but i definitely dont envy them staying right on the Ayia Napa strip during the season 😂. Cyprus also has a huge cat population where alot are strays and its said there are more cats than people on the island. Its sad to see.

I went aya napa with the boys for my 18th. That was like.. 13 years ago and it was just as crazy then 🤣. Nothing but brits and Irish (young lads) basically side men fanatics lol. They called it from day 1 they knew what was going to happen.
hey i know it's a bit late but anyway wanted to say that the sidemen are so famous in the uk and a lot of people don't watch their videos but mostly everyone knows about them. For example the 7 years old kid that you talked about. I bet he doesn't watch the sidemen because whenever i see someone that watches them and meets them, they go crazy, but he was so chill

Cyprus is a Greek Island. Ayia Napa (pronounced eye-yah) and Larnaca are cities in Cyprus. Ayia Napa is filled with under 20s. Its as u said, Benidorm but worse. Kirsty and Kon arent always on the same teams. Zante is pretty bad too but not as bad as Ayia Napa. The strip is extremely long. Sidemen were on the calm side of the strip btw.

In Europe you dont need to tip, some countries might find it offensive if you tip and others would be happy for a tip. But its optional.
Europe is not really into the Tip thing, like you can just do it or not, depends on your mood and if you really feel the service is great.

it's not really forced, it's more a habit and understanding that certain professions get paid less by their employer because they rely on tips from the customer which is kinda messed up, but you still want to help the worker if they do a good job. it's not a fixed tip percentage you have to give, you give them a tip based on their performance @@naqiudinhadi
