So so happy to see something that is almost a perfect solution without the need for an accumulator. Please test in the future with higher grip tires. It seems that the more tire/wheel/suspension/aero people run the more they have to deal with oil pressure issues. More grip=more oil slosh. Most people reporting issues are running more than a 225 gt radial. Either way, thanks a million for all the work you’ve put in.
@@900BRZ appreciate it, take your time. Because you need to finalize the testing before updating everyone, hope it give a solid solution to everyone out there.
You need to run CW so T2 is a long right hander to test the oil pressure. CCW T3 was definitely on its way down but that corner is too short. Nice driving :)
Yeah we will plan to do more testing and eventually go to Buttonwillow where there is a long sweeper called Riverside that’s a bit of an FA24 killer. West also runs CW sometimes and has a good then for testing these conditions.
Yes, I’ll be publishing all the details and there will be a product available at the end of this testing! Hoping to help bring it to market as soon as possible.
@@900BRZ Oh okay! I was watching one of your previous analysis videos where you mentioned you'd go with no baffle and then test accumulators. This is promising. Thank you for going out of your way to test the platform.
Does your Mobil 1 FS smell a little bit like ammonia? I mean when it's new and you are just opening up the bottle. I notice it with Mobil 1 FS X2 5w-50.
Wow no significant oil pressure drops! Hope whatever you did isn’t too complicated or invasive.
Looking forward to the details!
Thanks for all the experimentation and hard work 900BRZ! Can't wait to see what you and Verus and the gang have come up with!

Yes, we will be testing with higher grip setups soon on a friend’s car!
Whatever it was, it worked.
Same! Hope it’s a higher capacity oil pan!
Quite the difference from the last test done. Can’t wait for the reveal on this potential solution.
OH MY GOD I CANT WAIT FOR THE DEETS
Looking forward to your detailed explanation, i suppose!
Congrats on the PB. You're quickly improving as a driver!
Thank you! Weather is cool right now but not too cold and enjoying still being in the phase where I can PB almost every time I go out
You're definitely improving! Much better oil pressure. I'm guessing/hoping Verus engineering oil pan?
what did you do to reduce preassure drops, new video coming soon?! 🙌
Yes, video coming soon. Will be able to share some more details while we’re still doing testing and then hopefully a big reveal soon after.
awesome runs! I didn't notice any oil drops below 50 psi. Are you still testing any baffles or was this just the heavier weight oil?
This is with a new experimental product. We’re finally getting there!

@@900BRZ!!!!!!
@@900BRZheck yeah. I can't wait to know what it is. Please share in the 86 Cup chat when you're willing and able to. Thank you.
YOU DID IT!!!!
We still have some more testing to do and will be testing out another iteration, but we’re on the right track!
I hope it’s an oil pan and/or baffle solution and not an accusump type of deal. But whatever works is cheaper than an engine I suppose.
Can confirm it’s not an accumulator
Guessing an accusump but I would love to be wrong!
Also good driving out there man, you should be proud of your improvement :)
Thank you! Stay tuned for more info. Will share as soon as I can.
Looking forward to the oil pressure mod reveal. I'm guessing a baffled deep sump oil pan. Also car sounds great. What's your exhaust/intake setup?
Thanks, I’m using a GR Performance Exhaust I purchased used and have a mic on the rear bumper. Stock intake.
@@900BRZ Does the exhaust gives additional performance?
@andriykaravan5001 Nope
In the market for a new car at the moment, hoping this solution is reasonable, would solidify the GR86 as my next purchase.
Oil pressured look much stabilized compare to before. Do update us what has been changed in your setup. Much appreciated 👍
Will do as soon as I can!

Hows it going???
Started writing a script for the next video, so it’s coming soon!
Accummilator..?
No accumulator!
Here a guy from Spain with a new GR86 waiting to know how you solved the oil pressure issue!!! When will you reveal the "secret"??!!! 😅
Will be soon! I’m going to make a video discussing where we’re at and help my partner bring something to market soon thereafter.
How did you fix the oil starvation?!?!
Will be able to share a little more soon!
@@900BRZ thank God!!!
@@900BRZ can't wait. The data was looking solid.
Was it just 1 xtra lita?
Nope, working on a new product with a partner. More details soon!

I’m assuming you used a baffle and accumulator setup for this track day?
No accumulator! Will share more info soon.

@michaelpan7737 Some of my friends/collaborators are running accumulators so I will be able to share their findings too
How is your oil pressure so stable? In the straight line it’s locked on 75 psi 😮. Is it the accusump setup? Mine is always fluctuating 😅
What are you using to measure your pressure? We’ve found the AEM gauge introduces some jitter. That may be what you’re seeing.
Inquiring minds require info on the sorcery going on here ✨

Does your Mobil 1 FS smell a little bit like ammonia? I mean when it's new and you are just opening up the bottle. I notice it with Mobil 1 FS X2 5w-50.
I didn’t really notice that in particular, but can pay attention next time I crack one open. Might be soon haha.
GR86/BRZ owners around the world are looking forward to the answer
More info soon!
Is that (F) number your oil temp or your coolant temp?
That’s oil temp. Coolant temp is not currently included but it’s pretty close to Oil T.
@@900BRZ Is your oil cooler the type that is cooled by the engine coolant?
@@BioCosmic--DustI retained the factory coolant-to-oil heat exchanger and added a larger-than-normal Setrab Series 9, 20 row air-to-oil cooler core.
