I have concerns regarding this song. I find it to be ambiguous in its lyrical content as well as it's too "me" focused in its structure. This song gives the impression that when a person become a believer in Jesus Christ, they will be no pain or hardship at some point. I have enjoyed and been ministered to by most Sinach's songs but this one is of concern to me.
This song was a part of a worship set that I was in. My spirit was so troubled with this song that I told the worship leader that I wasn't comfortable singing it. Little did I know, that the worship leader was also uncomfortable about it. The worship leader replaced it with a God-focused song ! Amen
This is a prophetic song specifically to the body of christ. Those that have been looking down on themselves and God reminds them they are the head and not the tail. It's to prepare believers not to be afraid to ask big. It's a decree of what heaven wants to do for the sons of God. To occupy boldly according to the book of lukewarm until Jesus comes. It's a song edify believers.
