I find myself coming back to this song over and over. It is such an underappreciated work of art. The sound design, the instrumental flavour and the ongoing dissonance that converges into an uplifting outro. It is telling such an emotional story. The transition of the song creates this visual in my head. I see a music video of a couple and one person is constantly being put-down. There are flashes to the person stuck in a box in an empty room. The tension builds and right at the drop that said person walks up to the box and smashes it open to let themselves out. The one in the box just begins free-falling as if the hold is broken. Maybe I'm insane, but I see a powerful story here.

Bensley has a recognizeable style, which I am not overly amuzed of (not to say I do not like him, I still have some of his songs in my playlist and listen to them in my car) but damn this second drop hit me like I had driven a car into a brick wall, total fire! Personally I don't think a remix album can really be seen as an album. It doesn't have a theme really and the tracks are completely different, going from liquid to generic to neuro to half time etc. Mefjus - Manifest takes the spot for best album this year yet for me
