In the beginning I felt a little disoriented and thought the defenders came at me very fast, but towards the end I felt more comfortable and managed to throw a TD that I'm very proud of.
Field definitely looks different from a camera then in person, makes it look emptier which it is, but you don’t notice that when really when you play, your really only focusing on the defense and running your route
Crazy thing is that the start of my freshman year I watched this. now its my senior year and the season just ended and I found this in my recomendations

As a center, I can never imagine being QB, it looks so hard to do and you need to have a good eye. You also need your blockers blocking and your receivers to be there for you quickly until you start getting rushed and don't have time. This is why I love football, each person plays an important part and its such a good sport. You all have to rely on and have confidence for each other as a team, and not as a singular person.
You gotta try and work with your center, not blaming you. It’s difficult being a center, lots of things to think about so a closer connection really helps. It’s why NFL qbs always treat the linemen like the mvps.
You get the most access to the coaches. As any other position when your learning plays, you often have no reads and you only have to learn your assignment and not really anyone else's. Basically, as long as you do your job, then thats all you need to know. A QB however NEEDS to know EVERYONE'S assignment and EVERY read on EVERY play. Because of this, as a coach, you're QB really needs to be the guy who is the most involved on you're entire team so while most every other learns theirs plays and assignments in practice and maybe only studies the film a little bit for themselves, The QB is a different story. Along with the normal installs we learn in practice and the film we watch with the team, we're also constantly talking to the coaches having conversations by text and in private meetings apart from the team so the QB not only knows what himself and everyone around him is doing but so that coach and QB are totally on the same page come gameday as far as our goals, concepts and specific reads on different plays are concerned. Also all of the constant exclusive communication the we QB's have with our coaches isn't usually the, "He says, he follows." type of communications most players have. It's almost always more of a conversation as equals. My week prior to a game looks like this..... Cnt'd.
First day I'm usually expecting my coach to send me some film to break down before we have our team film meetings, (usually from the game before and of the upcoming team). I'll break down everything I notice myself from our tape, (missed assignments, potential play variations, any mistakes and coaching points for the team as a whole) and of the upcoming team, (Very much the same as breaking down our own tape but less for corrections and more to gameplan). I'll send my mock ups to coach who then does the same for himself before showing both mockups to our offence in our team film meeting. Throughout the week, myself and coach are having meetings and talking back and forth about everything nonstop, who to watch, what reads to make, what to expect, what not to expect, what plays will work and what won't. Add that to the regular practices and You can kinda see how we remember this stuff. not only because we're so involved though but also because a lot of QB's are expected to relay information to coaches that they wouldn't otherwise know or see and as a result, help mold the playbook into what it is rather than just learn it.

I played for Montana University grizzlies in the late 90's. 96 to 99 at quarterback. There was my 3rd game of my freshman year where I went out and passed for 532 yards and 7 touchdowns!!!! Ended the season with 4,328 yards and 39 touchdowns 8ints and the only 8 incomplete passes I threw were the interceptions.
This wasa pretty solid game. You have a great arm, wide receivers are pretty good as they got multiple completions, and your running back plays well, and so does your o line. Overall rating: 8.5/10!
gosh having to eagle eye what the coach is saying when you're on the opposite side of the field seems so difficult, makes u really take for granted qbs having communicators in their helmets at higher levels
Why no keep on the zone read? Many times where QB can keep the ball while the end is crashing hard on the inside hand-off. Probably just the way he wants the offense run, but I don't think it would change too much to have this as an option in this type of offensive scheme. Great reads and throws though, Q.
