Totally dig this style of collecting. Just bought read and am now selling the Battle Angel Alita because I personally wasn't a fan of the story/writing/pacing etc. But am getting rid of it out of the whole philosophy of trying to only keep what brings me joy etc. Am wanting to get Dorohedoro soon along with a few others like 20th century boys, Stravaganza. Right now I only have Blame!, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Yotsuba, Goodnight PunPun and Azumanga. Definitely agree with buying and keeping manga or things in general that bring joy and almost feel a part of you. I mostly collect and read normal books and try to get the Easton Press or Folio Society bindings, and only recently started to get into manga from a love of anime
The way I read Vagabond was I found the ones that were printed as comic books. Viz only put out 16 issues of the comic book version, but they read like a normal manga and it gets you up to the first 6 volumes and the beginning of the 7th. I kinda wish more manga would be published into comic books, that way the artwork is blown up and you can get better details. Thank goodness for the deluxe editions.
I love your collection, especially the mecha stuff. I wish I could still buy that Patlabor set. Gundam Seed is one of my favorites. I like Destiny more than most people. It's been a long time since I've rewatched that whole series.
First off you got a very awesome collection. Most of my collection is just Anime movies and tv series. If you ever wanna digitalize your collection I highly recommend you get an LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray drive and download a few programs. Also, make sure to have a big enough hard drive because files can get big depending on the media disc you're ripping from. The first one is called MakeMKV this program will rip all your media content. You can store all the audio and subs in the MKV format and play it literally anywhere that supports the format. Blu-Ray files will require a lot of space though. The second program is called HandBrake. This program is a file compression program. It will cut the size of your files to nearly half or lower of the original size making the file or files more hard drive friendly. If you need help with settings feel free to ask me and I can help you out. The third program is called MKVToolNix (it's optional). In this program, you can edit what dub or subs you want to default. Edit metadata. The fourth program is called PLEX Media Server. You can stream your content on any device has long as the system you are using to house your media content is on and the PLEX Media Server program is open in the background. The program is similar to Netflix it grabs metadata from the internet from a few certain sites and then gives you the vibes of a Netflix feel. The amazing thing is this you don't have to worry about license issues like Netflix where their shows disappear, whatever is on your drive is there forever till you delete it. PS - Sorry for the chapter but though you might be interested in this kind of stuff. I also subscribed as well.

Wonderful collection, imo even better than the precedent when here we see only great or entertaining mangas and animes. But in shojo manga even if i don’t think there is an English release, you should check Life of Keiko Suenobu one of my personnal favorite, it’s absolutely not a love story and i wouldn’t have think that highschool girls where as evil as most of devils in mangas

Gaming with THEMASTER Monster was one of my first manga which I read at like 13 and I’m glad it was because it made me realize what good quality story telling is like early on when it comes to manga. Btw both monster & Vinland have anime released currently while Dorohedoro & Pluto are getting anime adaptations sometime in 2020!

Procuring Manga here in India is an expensive deal, be it a single volumes or deluxe editions. But at the end of the day.. It does bring smile on the face for achievement! I got into manga with Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue 2 years back with VizBig Editions, journey's still ongoing! And 2 days ago I procured Berserk Deluxe edition Vol 1 which I think was totally worth it and a grand justice for its artwork. You got a great collection out there. Hats off man! Procuring Manga here in India is an expensive deal, be it a single volumes or deluxe editions. But at the end of the day.. It does bring smile on the face for achievement!
I got into manga with Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue 2 years back with VizBig Editions, journey's still ongoing! And 2 days ago I procured Berserk Deluxe edition Vol 1 which I think was totally worth it and a grand justice for its artwork.
You got a great collection out there. Hats off man! Keep up your love for Manga and Anime forever!
