WWE 2K23 Patch 1.18 Details, New Models Added, Changes & More!

- A new patch update has been released for WWE 2K23 taking the game up to version 1.18, with this updating adding in several new models for an upcoming release in MyFaction.
New models added with the update include:
- Kurt Angle (Backlash 2001)
- Charlotte Flair (WrestleMania 36)
- Randy Orton (Armageddon 2003)
- Triple H (Armageddon 2002)
- Booker T (2001)
- Stunning Steve Austin (WCW 1991)
While these new models were added for an upcoming pack in MyFaction, WWE Games modder WhatsTheStatus has been able to upload the new Kurt Angle and Charlotte models to Community Creations, therefore you can download them and use them in other modes using the hashtags shown below:
Charlotte: FLAIRHIDDENALT
Kurt Angle: KAHIDDENALT
Both of the new models are uploaded by the user account WhatsTheStatus#73109.
Other updates included in the patch see a fix for the Discus Clothesline 1 that was added as part of the Revel With Wyatt DLC Pack, as this move was previously glitched when used as a Signature or Finisher, however the new patch update has fixed it.
One other change noticed in the patch was the removal of Hollywood Hulk Hogan's Moustache, as the latest patch has removed the 3D beard, leaving Hogan with a textured beard in it's place.
This problem is one that has occurred throughout the lifecycle of the game, as Hogan's beard has been removed in one patch, then added in the next, with this continuing to happen with every update.

I’d imagine any further “patches” will be myFaction like the updates after the last DLC for last year’s game.

MyFaction could be so much fun if they were actual unlockables you could play in the other modes.
Agree with this. Grinding MFP to buy alt attire on MyFaction and to other modes would be okay for me.
For real I play mostly Online lobbies cuz bots get boring after a while, 2k should give us a better reason to grind my faction with classic outfits that carry over to the main game not locked to my faction its so silly...
I'd like it if they had a store like the MLB series where folks could put cards they don't want up for sale. Some of the challenges requring specific cards I can't do because the cards packs keep giving me duplicates (even though I only have 11 out of 30 cards) so it's really frustating.

I totally agree. I'm sure there's people that enjoy it, but it feels like so much focus is put on it that other modes don't get the updates or fixes they deserve 😔

Young HHH, Young Booker, Evolution Randy and attitude Era Kurt. these choices are making me think that HHH is getting a showcase next year.
People were saying that last year for WWE 2K23 with Evolution but that wasn’t the case as it was for Cena so don’t expect the same thing with HHH for WWE 2K24 next year
@@manthemangaming4017 true, but it does also come soon after his official retirement so I don’t see why not. He’s also one of very few current legends that can have a good amount of matches. Edge is another big rumour, but so much of his career is with Dudley’s, Jericho, Christian etc. HHH still has evolution, Kurt, Cena, HBK, Booker, Undertaker, Foley, Rock and more.
@@TheMondayVibes I can agree with you on that but we don’t know what next year’s 2K Showcase will be about since 2K hasn’t confirmed it yet since it’s too early for them to confirm it!!
I would laugh if we had to play HHH burying Booker. Worst booking either guy ever had outside of Katie Vick.
@@joer3720 yeah, it was bad booking and Booker never really recovered after HHH’s pedigree seemingly put him down for a 543 count. King Booker stuff later was great though
The best part of MyFaction isn't the mode itself at all, it's the fact that the new models will just get ripped and put into the Community Creations. :)
Feels like a no-brainer that more money can be had putting these models up in a DLC pack but whatever, lol. This is the same team that botches Hogan's mustache with each patch so clearly they can't seem to figure their sh*t out, lol.

I'm so mad that they focus on my faction, I would love if they added these models into a new shop section where we can get them with vc (like the legends) so hopefully that happens in 2k24
I honestly think that the shop definitely shoulda been a bigger focus. It would bring so much replay value to have all new added content into the shop.
So they can patch in new models for a game mode that barely anyone plays, but can't update the roster when someone returns or changes their entrance and/or overall look? 2K needs to get their priorities corrected.
It wish that we would’ve got the MyFaction models of : HHH, Booker T, Steve Austin and Randy Orton. But at least we have the Kurt Angle.

2K still need to fix Hulk Hogans moustache. The Bloodline trons and Cody Rhodes music for jukebox and CAWS.

1 good thing came out of this, the bloodline entrance is back, I used it with 4 custom superstars and the main player had 1 title round his waist and 1 given to him (paul heyman motion)..Happy with that.
You forgot one more fix they also fixed wade Barrett’s slingshot back breaker as a finisher when you used to do it as a finisher or signature it would glitch
So annoying that 2K are just scared to list actual patch notes. But MyFaction is so pointless. Even (as of 1.17, haven't looked since 1.18) the Monday Night Messiah and Visionary entrance graphics for Seth are hidden in MyFaction (assuming it's MyFaction, because no alternates are in the main game). But there's no entrances in MyFaction! So why are they even there?! Just a joke.
Updating the game with more retro models, additional attires, updating models and attires all great. Just absolutely awful it's all locked behind an online only card oriented mode. It'd be great if they did like an offline towers mode like 2k19 or 2k20, where you can unlock these things and use them regularly. So you're giving both more updated game. Gives offline players more content themselves. And it gives players a reason to keep up to date and come back to that tower mode.

When they have model updates they need to be for all modes. Not just My Faction. It's good to know that there's people that upload them but that's a ton of work for them. The new models should just be in the game from the update.
They honestly need to add the fiend after Wyatt's death. They have the model from 2k20
I'm hoping they do a showcase mode for Wyatt in 2k24 and have you unlock all his different characters that way.
Give them time. Plus his family's still grieving, you think they want to worry about some video games appearance right now?

Did you know, if you're in an elimination chamber match and you have the rope overhead belly to belly suplex assigned, you will instead perform an over the top rope exploder suplex instead?

So weird, on my game the Hogans all have their mustache normal. I think i only had that happened to me like once and after that everything been fine

bloodline entrance is back
My only issue after patch 118 is that the Raw arens sows up when I'm using Smackdown in wwe2k23
wwe2k23 itself is a good game, it's fun and there are a few new functions. But what I think is a shame is that there is no intro start for ppv in the universe mode and it shows something like that in 2k22. I totally feel like it will come back at some point

The game itself isn't bad, but especially when it comes to the universe, they could have done a lot better, but they still can't manage to produce a good WWE game today. In 2k22 this was done very well in the universe

Anyone else miss towers from wwe 2k20?
Scrap myFaction in next years game and give us something better. I would rather pay for wrestlers that I can keep forever and not have them locked exclusively to an online service that will become pointless when the next game rolls out.

So I reached out to 2k support but is anyone else see the upcoming live event for Bianca BelAir and it says the reward is Montez Ford but the card shown is The Rock but with Montez Fords name.

Guys I need some help, I have the digital version of the game for X/SX and lately all the saving and loading times take such a long time, I don’t know why it’s been doing that. It’s almost unplayable.
That the big problem with 2k its patch after patch ive they really can yust give us a new weapons fix patch the game will already be 70 persent much better but they ignore the people 😢
right after I installed 1.18 I made an alternate attire for bray Wyatt and I saved it and it’s not showing up anyone else have this same problem?

I'm not surprised that 2K is only focused on MYFaction. They turned into EA... They only focus on the mode where people put money into their game for packs and VC. F everything else, they're gonna put the bare minimum effort in the other stuff, modes in the game. There's issues in areas of the game that have been there since the Launch of 2K22. Damn shame!

Still trying to figure out the messed up code that Yukes left them. The mode was broken long before VC took over but people act like "2K" broke it.
@@Triple-Four They said they completely re-wrote the Universe Mode code this year, so hopefully that's a good sign we will get massive improvements in 2K24...
Smacktalks could you do a tutorial on how to make the hurt business, cause apparently there is a 4 man entrance for them but it’s not working for me and it’s working for other people
I think you have to reset the tag teams to default, but you could try editing their tag team / trio entrance and using the Hurt Business template

They need to added to regular roster nobody really play my faction
They should be just updating aittres not a section a small selection of us use
Can’t stand how hair gets tucked under a different attire and the entrance gets messed up because you made a secondary a second attire(ex: Charlotte, shotzi, Asuka)
Also, wish they would bring back the feature to use championship belt to be able to use as weapon like past games.
I actually discovered recently that you actually CAN use a championship belt as a weapon in 2K23.
See, if you have a champion come out and a run in happens from behind during their entrance, they can drop the title and if the match you partake in allows weapons (via no DQ),
they can actually grab and use the title they dropped during the match.
Happened to me when I did an extreme rules match for a midcard championship.

@@coreyweidman9001 I never bothered to touch universe mode due to all the glitches and bugs that 2K will never fix on it when it relate to custom things being inserted into it.
So I'm not the best person to ask.
Though I will say they took out a lot of features in Universe mode that made it stand out on it's own including run ins from what I understand so honestly, Universe mode in this game isn't the best use of your time in my personal opinion.
MyFaction does not fit with any with the wwe games they already made Mobile games for that
NBAMyteam fits with the game because more people play it and can do more in it
I swear 2K only focuses on MyFaction. They dont care about MyRise, Universe mode, MyGM, Showcase, or not even damn online that has been broken since day 1. 2K needs its license removed

I am so sick and tired of MyFaction!!! Different versions of wrestlers, new outfits, different entrances, and all of this is locked behind a damn paywall! We shouldn't have to rely on data mining for community creation, all of this stuff should have been added to the regular game to begin with, especially midway through the games life cycle considering the fact that there is no more DLCs. 2K can constantly update their NBA game daily, but their WWE game is treated like a side project.

I m so disapointed wwe 2k19 was so better , in universe mode this year there is no run ins nothing to do in a pay per view title match to do storylines. This year's universe mode is so shit
Honestly this game sucks so bad from March - August it was fine I had no problem with the game but then when I download a wrestler and I try to customize there gear once I’m about to start a match there deleted without warning or anything so I have to restart the game and boom he’s there 💀💀💀 plus I hate how they say not enough storage when last time I had so much more images now I barely have half and it’s already telling me too much storage 💀
Of course myfaction is the focus. Shocker. Let's not fix all the broken shit in the game or anything.
My Faction is pointless... it should be the case of go there... do the objectives and challenges... then unlock the bonus characters/ring attires... which should carry across to the main game.

MyFaction either needs to die or 2k just needs to let the models be unlockable. It makes no sense for them to be mode locked, especially when ppl just reupload the models on CC. Just cut out the middleman. Waste of a mode
