All of these builds seem to have the same problem, that you can’t get the seats in and the prop shaft tunnel is too narrow. Widening the seat area by a couple of inches won’t make much of a difference visually or to the weight. Aerodynamically it makes no difference as they have the same aerodynamics as a brick.
Whats happening ? Or have you abandoned this project

I probably should have widened the whole car by couple inches. Not a fan of just widening the cockpit, i feel like it messes up the proportions.
@@CarSick I think Brunton's XL is 4"wider and 10" longer. Supposedly fits a variety of seats and a V8...
Somewhere on the internet is I believe a build using the enlarged chassis called a McSorley 4+4. It adds width to the cockpit area and more leg room.
