Is it okay to expand to 2,4 or 6 batteries but the bms is no longer in the middle of the packs?
Do you sell that specific BMS on your site now? I bought mine from the link on your site that took me to AliExpress. Mine is slightly different but the same sku # as yours. I set up my batteries with the new BMS but after connecting the balance wire connector to the BMS, the output voltage drops to 10.39 v. The battery is 26.6v. the output with BMS without balance wires connected is 18.49 v.
Can I buy just the top PCB? to convert my 12V 100aH to 24v 50aH?
Very nice design work Jehu. What if you put thin Aluminum foil between each pack and pass them between the exterior wall ribs. Then bend them down and epoxy the foil tabs to the ribs making a metal foil exterior surface for cooling of the pouches?

I need to Build an off grid system for 1300 watt for continuous, maybe 2000 for expansion. I'm confused with the calculations. A should I build the battery bank first or the solar array first?

While it does not meet the absolute definition of Open Source you can openly Source the parts that you wish from the vendors that you wish to to complete this project in a way that makes sure he doesn't have to worry about any liability issues from someone adjusting something and it not working properly or becoming dangerous
highly recommend better quality BMS. What he uses is low quality trash. get a overkill or Jk. Even a Daly is far better.

Good morning jehu. I was wondering if you could hook up the batteries in series for a 48 volt pack with just one BMS or do you have to have a BMS for each group of 48 volts
you need a bms on each battery if you are connecting them in series

Are you shure those aux ports can carry multiple 100A?
I have 5 of these batteries with PCB kit and the 200amp 8s heltec BMS from AliExpress. I Daisy chained the batteries together just like in the diagram from your site. The battery bank is ready for used. I have a 24v 2500watt aims inverter connected to the "load" side. The only question I have is, how do I connect my mppt solar charge controller to my new battery bank. The BMS from AliExpress didn't come with instructions. Any help with be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@@jehugarcia I have 3 mppt solar charge controllers with their own solar panels. I just want to know if I can connect all 3 mppt's to the this battery bank. I did with my old AGM batteries. I'm new to LiFePO4

Nice battery and great vid but it looks like the bms doesn't have low temperature cut-off I can't see a thermistor on it that will turn out to be a problem in cold environments.
