@TheAgent06 i think the whole point of the joystick being able to slow or speed the track up by 50 percent is to give the track a quick nudge in either direction to align the tunes....not to actually play the track at that speed for any length of time
Jonathon, your beat scratching into the mix is actually REALLY on time and very good. i noticed from prior videos you discount your self on scratching.. from what i see you got great technique.
This is an amazing cast. Nice to see you at home. Nice to see Vestax have an acknowledgement. Always a rival to Technics. It's obvious to see that vestax have the upper hand when it comes to technology but unfortunately Technics have the reputation and it's a little bit hard to play Down
to TheAgent06, in this day and age the vinyl dj demands quality and more features, eg, you have a slow breakbeat toon using the ultra pitch you can speed it up to get a DnB toon, or a DnB toon , slow down to get a hip hop beat! j
@djdudra mate i got 2000mk2, 1210 mk2 and 2300mk2pro an the 2300mk2pro wins every time 4 me, so much better with the spring loaded arm, if your into scratching aswell, the 2300s in a league of its own - or the 2000mk2pro with the staight spring loaded arm
I think the digital pitch display is a dam good idea. looks like an ok turntable still think i'd pick my 1210's over them as you know you have the reliability and build quality it would be good to see how well the vestax lasts in a club environment.
15yrs later my both pairs 1200mk2 need a good service after 12 months of just studio use. While my 2300 not even once needed to be calibrated etc .. they seem 'plastikier' but they are freakin' animals🤣 and i think in my country i am the only one who has em 2300's🤣🤣
..another thing, i really want to get want to get some Vextax decks for the 2.5 KM torq! not sure if want this.. or the straight arm.. i do mixes.. and i do scratches juggles, mash upz, i know s arms sound beeter because of the vibration factor i want it to really sound good. blehhh, i do see people cuttin and scratch on Technic 1200 which are s arm.. hmmm.. Let me know how that PDX cuts. I think i want that extra torq and that S arm.. get back at me, peace
what da, Counldnt get away from the S-Tone arm huh? haha. I wanted that turntable, but it costs too much for me. haha. great demo. should demo the tone arm and see if it holds just like the PDX 2000's and not skip no matter the pressure.
Not to disrespect you but I am now a scratch dj that likes and needs a pitch range that large so yes maybe for the average dj may not need it scratch djs do. Technics 1200s have done me well but moved on to stanton str8 150 peace practice and enjoy
I want to sell a set of these, they are as new I just dont have time now! i have a vestax pmc - o5 pro III scratch mixer too i live in carlisle england and want £600 for the lot ... anyone?

Good to see that some manufacturers are finally adding something useful to turntables.

Nice like the idea of having visual pitch display on TT. Good demo on the equipment.
press "Up, Down, Up, Down, B, A, B, A, Select, Start"... you'll get 30 lives
On the pitch bend u can also press the joystick and acts as a button
great review on the PDX. hows the torq on those tables compared to the SL1200?

Would be lovely if Technics had the ultra pitch
to whiteblitz, the motor is a lot stronget so the torq is better.
