Todd was the first person to subscribe to my channel many years ago now, the muskrat where digging a lot of off bank den holes this year like the hole under the dock, a little harder to get too.
Beaver are on my bucket list Dave, I live next to the Lehigh river and I rarely see beaver, the limit for my management unit is only 5 a season so you know the population is low, sooner or later il find a spot to catch one.
Usually within the first : days of setting I have the bulk of the muskrats Vinnie after that I’m just catching stragglers and rats moving in from the creek. Unfortunately I don’t have a spring season and that’s when they move in numbers back into that pond. The drought conditions this season stopped them moving too far this season I think.
