To get 25k monthly he would either need to work 24 hours a day, every day, at $34 an hour (which is already high for a mechanic) or he would need to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week, at $68 an hour. To make 25k monthly with a somewhat more reasonable work week of 10 hours a day and 5 days a week, he would need to make $125 an hour. If you actually think thats a reasonable pay, I want whatever drugs you're taking, because they're strong as fuck.
Gavin I would highly recommend marking where the seatbelt holes are BEFORE putting carpet back in. They are a pain to find with carpet on top of them. I have a 66 Marlin that someone replaced the carpet in and did not put holes in the carpet for the belts and it was more tedious work that was unnecessary.
Hey Gavin, when it comes to your gauges I highly recommend using the classic instruments gauges clusters. They have next to no wait time and is fully electronic to be compatible with your modern driveline! They have many different styles. I have the g stock series in my c15!
I like the restomod idea but keep the interior mainly stock with a few small modern upgrades keep it clean and classy can’t beat an old style interior the quality and styling speak for itself

Looking forward to this project. Those vacuum lines on that wiper motor are for your windshield washer. The motor was electric. I have the same upgrade motor on my firebird. It comes with a switch because the stock switch operates off grounds to switch speeds. The new motor setup runs power to the switch for different speeds.

So I my end, I brought my mustang *roush, 5 speed ) to the shop to get the timing reset., to my surprise it wasn't the timing after all ! It appears to be my throttle body and a sensor wire , so I was gonna order a new hood, but that put a damper on my body restoration, cause this will be about 1,274.76 and for a small time worker like myself means, "I can't keep up with you!" This is my favorite build. I am "building" (I'm broke af) a 67 Ranchero that I got from my grandfather. I can't do what you're doing, but it's cooler to me to see you build a 60s muscle car than your crazy GT350 or Hank. Btw, love the channel and love what your doing.
I know when people do a coyote swap in a foxbody, there is no room for the power brake booster. They have to put in a different system for the power brakes. That might be a solution for you on the Camero. That paint looks so good. You seem to be feeling better. Keep up the good work. Always going to be a fan.
My 1st car when I got my license was supposed to be my mother 1st car she bought new as a left over for like 1900$ was a 1970 camaro got my license at 16 in 1996 and while having my permit, a week befor I went to get my license my father gave the car to my uncle so I couldn't have it. Car ment sooo much to me as mother and I where close and unfortunately she past away 2 years ago from unexpected cancer. But idk I been in to imports In the past and have wanted a hellcat or something similar but I have always had a spot for camaro's. And now after 3 kids and covid affecting income I'm stuck with 2 cars one not on road and the other barrely on road and can't even get them fixed properly. But anyway love your channel, puts me in a good mood and just day dreaming to be able to do the things you do.
my dad has 2 1969 camaros. One is an all original and numbers matching z/28 and the other is a convertible ss Camaro. We are selling the z/28 sadly. I have no idea if the camaros will start because of the flood but I will let you know on an update, Our basement flooded as well. It's gonna be amazing watching a Camaro build and see whats the difference between 67 and 69! The convertible is either the same color as your 67 or close to it, Amazing 67!

Gavin they make paint called Por15 for painting over lightly rusted surfaces to coat and kill the rust. I would paint the inside of the Camaro with that. Then use sound deadening material

It might have just been my truck you can access the seat belt bolt holes from under it and I just stabbed a small hole through

When you get the Camaro finished, you need to bring it to the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, TN.
I was on vacation in pigeon forge one year it happened to be the same week as the Rod Run. What an amazing atmosphere throughout the whole place
