Its canon now. The Gmod player can travel faster than the speed of light, like 1,000 times more, and is multi-verse level.
correction, several billion times the speed of light, if not trillions.
i remember someone made a video on "whats the theoretical limit of minecraft steve" now i need a video on the same for the gmod character
Mods are not canon bruh, but gmod player with mods thanks to the multiverse scaling which makes him multiverse level since the gmod player can affect the multiverse by deleting the server or creating the server

best physics and biggest map, what next 🔥🔥🔥
@@thatwardrobeguy Best AI (that's already somewhat true)
You are so wrong, the developer simply increased the scale of the scene a million times and scattered multi-colored hexagons all over it with a script. This can be achieved in any engine that can handle very large numbers. But even here I doubt the logic of this method, because it would have been more reasonable to make a map of normal sizes, but the player’s speed was prohibitively low, a little manipulation with the camera and the same WOW effect only without artifacts on the screen.

GMod mods going from edible food 10 years ago to a scale multiverse now is so absolutely insane/silly that it sounds like a made up thing someone would make, imagine going on a DarkRP server in 2012 and saying, "in the future the entire universe can be played as a GMod map"

Space engine
@@thefollower2933did you know a software called space engine?
Basically SpaceEngine.
the whole point of 1-1 scale is that you can explore in macro and see actual stuff close by, but this is just a gloried extreme slowness mode as the "universe" is just a (abysmally inaccurate in counts) clumps of galaxies which are just pngs
the same effect could be gotten by slapping a bunch of png of universes around randomly and making the player extremely slow
And they all flicker obnoxiously
Check out SpaceEngine if you're looking for an actual 1:1 universe simulation that has an incredible amount of depth and detail.
I kind of have to agree. It's a neat concept and it does a decent job at putting scale into perspective, but other than that, there's just nothing of substance here. You can't even really sit down and explore it for hours because it's all the same PNG bullshit.
@@TheAbsol7448 It horribly fails at putting scale into perspective.

but it still IS the scale of the multiverse
@@ialwayswatchyoutube812Space Engine is way more impressive, despite not being this big, it's still the entire Observable Universe with actual galaxies, with billions of systems on just one of them, and explorable planets, meanwhile this is just some JPEGs on a large void.
And also you can run Space Engine on most computers, this map consumes a lot of RAM.
@@AshuroBR yeah it consumes more ram because its the multiverse lmao
@@ialwayswatchyoutube812 That has something to do, but it's more because the Source Engine renders everything at once, why do you think Space Engine does not use that much ram despiste it being 3D models and fully explorable planets? Research more before trying to justify that map, it's not that impressive, any modern engine could do that, just make some JPEGs, stretch then and make an algorithm to put a lot of them in a large space.

@@gabrielsantana6161it is the case
@@Actually_saifhow does his speed make him as big as galaxies?
Imagine how funny it would be in the distant future we use Gmod to map out the entire universe.
This is overwhelmingly easy to do. Idk how so many people are gullible enough to call this the biggest map of all time. None of the galaxies or solar systems are walkable. It’s practically just a void full of JPEGS that aren’t accurate to anything from real life and they branded it as an exact replica.
When was it called an exact replica? All I see is 1:1 Scale, which refers to the size of the map.
Also if it’s so easy to do, why hasn’t it already been created?
@@Spectral_RotD because it’s literally pointless. There’s no actual attention detail, gameplay value, exploration, realism, or anything that makes it impressive. All of the galaxies are copy pasted into a grid, none of them are in correct locations, none are even large enough to be considered something worth looking at. The planets that are rendered aren’t accurate or proper scale and you noclip through them. It claims to be a 1:1 universe. It’s in the title, but it’s a glorified particle effect at best. The hype is undeserved. Any map can be the “biggest of all time” if the amount of data in it is bare minimum
I mean I was thinking the nextbot trend would be like a biggest map trend but no
I remember playing a game called Megaton Rainfall that let you explore the entire universe moving at hyper-liminal speeds, letting you visit every galaxy, star cluster, solar system, star, planet, moon, even METEOR in the entire universe
This just scales it up to 2048
Everybody gangsta till they find thimselves playing the map inside the map
The third map - you confused the skybox with the one single universe
the man who made the multiverse would be really pissed off at this
Now I want to see a deathmatch between Gmod guy and Steve from Minecraft
garry's mod players will make this type of map rather than going to therapy.
There is no way that there are 2 trillion galaxies per each of those ‘universes’. So, no. It is not ‘to scale’. But it is still very cool
this gives me goosebumps, somehow im scared of it, despites it being so beautifull
And now tell me that we couldn't live in a simulation, if a MOD MAKER IN GMOD can do a 1:1 scale of the F---ING MULTIVERSE
Might as well just slap a JPEG of random noise, call it the omniverse, and set the player speed to one of a trillionth, because this is not that far away from that. I don't think 3-pixel JPEGs can count as galaxies.
Yea kinda disappointed
Did you miss the part where they said 1:1 scale? The player speed isn't just slow, in fact it's actually extremely fast, but the map is so incomprehensibly massive that it seems like you're moving slow. You could even see this at a certain point if you watched the video, when galaxies were flying past him so fast it looked like they were glitching, but at the same time it didn't look like he was moving at all.
@@0Sirenn Doesn't matter if these "universes" don't even look like the real universe. It's just a repeating pattern of a bunch of jpegs of galaxies close together copied and pasted over and over. I don't see how it is impressive to make an unfathomably large map like this, just for the sake of being unfathomably large. You don't even get a good sense of the speed you're travelling, since source engine works with units, and not even a good reference point for anything. SpaceEngine is much better for this, not only it is infinitely more detailed (you can go into each galaxy and see the individual stars, go into each star and see the planets orbiting it, if there's any, and even land on those planets and explore the landscape), it is much more accurate to how the universe actually looks. And you get a much better sense of scale when you visit Earth, start zooming out until you leave the solar system, then leave the milky way, then leave the local group of galaxies, and each time you speed up you know how much faster you're travelling, you truly get a sense of how unfathomably large the universe is.
@@IDyn4m1CI Well you just said you "don't see how it is impressive," so obviously you don't really know what you're talking about in regards to this map. The fact that this map has gotten so popular somewhat recently must tell you there is something to be impressed by, so really the problem here is you.
@@0Sirenn Not only me, scroll through the comments and you'll see a lot other people find it rather pointless. It might be impressive at first because it is on source engine, but it stops being interesting after about 2 minutes. SpaceEngine is much, much more impressive in how it generates it's universe, and how you can get a true sense of scale when you explore entire galaxies and then go down to the surface of an individual planet in the simulation.
You forgot to show off the atmospheres of each planet! haha
nice vid! Also, FYI I just made Gmod Flight Simulator (I'm still working on it)
Crazy how it created a labyrinth like in Nolan's interstellar when the beings from the future created time as a physical dimension. Crazy the "parallels" you can find in the universe.
Imagine how funny it would be if some nihilist said "There's no one, I'm alone" and then he looks out the window to see THAT.
pretty sure this is just an empty box, like where are all the galaxies and stars and planets/moons to land and explore? It really isn't all that impressive
I was legit thinking some madlad somehow managed to put 2 trillion galaxies in each universe
yeah this map looks like there is about 2000 per "universe"
it actually makes more sense having a plain black background because of the fact that your flying past universes were all the stars are so technically you wouldn't see the stars in the background because there would be none
What the hell you are talking about. There are billions of stars around
Doesn't 1:1 mean that galaxies should be giant clusters of individual planets, like in reality, and the player should be a molecule compared to even one of them? No, the map is cool, just clarifying.
Infinite black box with tiny little Jpegs in it? I'm sorry but that doesn't make it the largest map, I understand what the point is, but its like making a decent sized map, and then making the player model incredibly small. I don't mean to come off disrespectful, let me know if I got anything wrong
I don't think it's as simple as that my man
Technically it is the largest map. It has multiple universes in the same area, which is many more areas. Best way I can describe it in text lol

It really illustrates how naive would it be to think that not on even one planet out of this mind-defying scale of the universe is there intelligent life.
Could someone explain how this is 1:1 scale? If it was 1:1 wouldnt you be able to go inside all of those galaxies individually and see all of the stars and planets inside as you approach them?
It’s 1 to 1 scale in size only, it would be way too taxing to have every star, planet, and other celestial objects all within the map sadly 😕

I thought that too for a bit, until he died
And at normal speed it would take such a large amount of years that the number would be incomprehensible to us, a little example would be a number such as g63^TREE(10). There are many games with literal infinite game Worlds. You could call them all 'biggest'. This may be one of them, but it's not THE biggest- it's one of many.
What's interesting about our Universe, we have only mapped a very small part of just the Milky Way. We also know that we can't see most stars, they're either too dim or hidden behind clouds, we only see the brightest that aren't hidden by clouds. I don't remember the exact theoretical number and I'm too lazy to look it up but I believe that they think we can only see about 1/3-1/2 of the Stars that are within our small mapped area that we call 'the local group'. The Universe is boggling huge. This is a nifty game/mod
