Stephanie, with so many new foundations being released I think this is a great way to go. Since you address these by name, we don’t wonder your thoughts on each one.
Foundation Roundup.....great idea. And your choices were a great mix of price, popularity and formula. I liked that it wasn’t just the latest “hype” foundations. Keep this format coming. BTW, the TF stick was beautiful....I believe TaraLynn loves it as well. Might have to break down and pick one up. Happy Weekend 🙂
I’ve been w you since the early days and feel bad since I forget to give you a thumbs up half the time love your channel and so nice to have a mature person to watch And a you tuber who doesn’t get hung up on all the silly trends Especially the language half the time you can’t even follow them lol your timeless classiness is greatly appreciated
Hi Stephanie! Please consider doing the super closeups on all your foundation road tests. It's the best way to see how a foundation sits and behaves on the skin. It also can help people that have different concerns.
Susan Mueller I agree. I need to see what the foundation looks like close up on the skin, in natural light like this. But I would like to see more than just a quick or rushed shot of it. She could just do a voice over, while doing the close up if it’s a time factor thing. If I can’t also see what it looks like on large pores or how it settles into wrinkles at the end of the day, I won’t buy it. Some people are not as brave as others, like Angie of Hot & Flashy who shows us what actual mature skin looks like.
Hello Ally, you can look through every single one of my foundation road tests and reviews in those playlists and see that I've been plenty "brave" throughout the years by showing my skin on multiple days in different kinds of lighting. I've worked hard and given very thorough reviews.. I haven't done individual foundation reviews in a long while though because sadly, they just don't get the views like they used to. That's why I'm doing roundups. I've also been plenty "brave" in my skincare videos and gone barefaced with no makeup or foundation free with other makeup on in those and many other videos on my channel.
Stephanie Marie Also I have bookmarked many of your videos to be watched later and I have thanked you several times for your list of foundation and concealer colors as a fellow NC25 wearer. I have never seen anyone do that and that is beyond helpful. That is why I subscribed. AND I let every ad run as often as I can, in appreciation of your hard work. I’m not sure why I’m being singled out when someone else had similar suggestions.
I love this format! Please do more like this. I also love YSL-actually all of their foundations. You’re review of Tom Ford stick has intrigued me. I also don’t do well with most stick foundations, but may just have to try this.
I’m going to have to try the YSL! I have combo/oily skin and also live in a humid hot climate (Houston) so I really listen to your foundation recommendations!
I have been overwhelmed by all the new foundations... I haven't purchased any, but I truly enjoyed seeing ur thoughts... I'm oily so most foundations wipe right off 💕💕💋
Hi Stephanie! I’m so glad to hear you’re going to do a super close-up foundation review. Please consider doing this for other foundation reviews. Super close-ups gives so much info on how foundations sit and behave on the skin, particularly for people that may have subtle differences and/or concerns about their own skin. Thanks!
I love my Dior Face and Body and Chanel foundations but you’re making me want to try more. So yes these are better videos than road tests because you’re very thorough. Thank you! 💋
Multi foundation reviews like this are nice but mostly because you provide such consistent & thorough reviews of each product. I wish more people would report as you do on whether products had any "smell" to them or not (which CAN be contradictory to whether they even have any listed fragrances or not). So a Big Thanks from me!
Loved this segment. Agree, LOVE the Sephora Matte Perfection. Complete surprise. It wears beautifully. I also live in a super humid hot place (Houston) and have combo/oily skin. Bought it on a whim then saw your review. Love it. Also like the TF yet cant find a color match!
I haven’t worn actual foundation in about a month now. @elleleary recommended the CLE CCC cream awhile back and found on haute look for 1/2 price. I absolutely LOVE IT! I’m 44 as well and I’m ur neighbor in south MS
Would love to see a version of this for the drugstore/more affordable Steph! Some of my faves are the L’Oréal 24hr Freshwear, CYO, BH, ColourPop stick foundation, Revolution stick foundation, L. A. Girl.
Oh my goodness.....my girl abby bliss white and I are putting up a “foundation roundup” video tomorrow! I have 8 foundations too😂😂 Excited to see this!
This video was great!!! I like this format better than one single foundation reviewed. You were thorough as always, and we get to know about multiple foundations in one video. Loved it 👍❤
I tried the Maybelline Urban Cover and I did not like it. It felt heavy on my face and I ended up returning it. One of my very favorite drug store brands is the Revlon Candid foundation. I much prefer it over the It CC cream! It has such a velvety finish and is easy to apply. Thanks for sharing!! 😊👍🏼
Fellow Louisianaian here! I’m from Thibodaux!! Thanks for the review!! We have the same skin type and obviously the same climate situation😂. So this information is quite valuable, especially when I feel like an oil slick by noon! I wish you would do a more affordable/drug store review (maybe foundations without sunscreen).
Stephanie Marie, great video! Thanks so much for showing shots of yourself wearing the foundations in different lighting - great idea! And, as always thank you for your hard work!
TF stick foundation is my favorite and it’s worth the price!! I love it!!!!! I have mature dry skin and it works great!!! I use the hourglass brush, try it you will like that brush!
Steph!!!! Yes this format is great! I would try and see if u can do a poll on which ones can graduate to full foundation road test (I would LOVE to see the YSL and McGrath) I know there r probably tons of vids but o only trust you and Elle Leary. Thanks!
I'd love to see you do a review of Tarte's water foundation from the Sea Collection, and maybe some other items from the collection too. I love your channel. 💖
Thank you for the TF recommendation. I don’t like stick foundations either but love this one! Your review was on the spot! The color match to me was perfect.
This is the best of both worlds! Love the in-depth reviews but this is a great comparison overview to see what you’re interested in trying, that you can then look at your in-depth review. Feel like it’s probably a lot more work for you though. Love your foundation reviews and will continue to watch however you want to film or organize them. Your foundation videos fill a niche that has very few content creators. We need to help you get the word out. 😊💙💙
I loved the pur foundation! Since I’m a stay at home mom foundation lasts me forever so I used my winter shade as my summer concealer bc I always had leftover..but I don’t have combo skin I have 100% dry skin!
Thank you Stephanie! I also like the roundup style review of foundations. I have never had much luck with stick foundations either but the Tom Ford looks tempting.🌞
Wow Stephanie, that YSL looks so good on you! The second you showed the picture, you looked amazing. I will have to try that one for sure. I wanted to ask you if you have tried the new Smashbox foundation? I watched one of Tati's videos, and I could not believe how much she loved it! Thanks for trying all of these foundations for us, loved it!
I haven't but I'm not much for super full full coverage like she is. Before her video, I'd not heard great things about it. I'm on the fence. Thank you!
I do like the roundup of foundations because they have been coming out so fast and there are so many! I have the new CT foundation and I do like the way it starts out looking but by the end of the day it looks extremely dry. I will use it for short outings. Thanks 🙏
I'm glad to know that you live in New Orleans. I do too and I'll have to start paying particular attention to your reviews. I think our climate here has a lot of impact on how products act and wear. I know for me when it's so hot and humid here my face sweats especially my nose plus I get really red. I have to look for products that aren't going to be sweated off 5 minutes after I walk out the door. I've had good luck with the Pat McGrath as well. It stays on and doesn't look too thick. It actually gets better and looks less dry with time. I'm also liking the ABH. You made me want to try the YSL ASAP though!
I really wanted to try the KA foundation balm. But after watching so many reviews, some good, some not so good, I think it is one that will not play nice with my mature, dry skin. Thanks for this rundown! So much information on so many foundations! I really appreciate all of the extra work you do to get your videos out!💜💙
I love your thorough reviews of foundation but I believe this is a great way to get so many different foundations especially since you add in pictures /videos of you wearing them. Looking forward to the up close and personal video. I need all the tips ❣️
I think this is a good way to review foundations especially with all the new releases. I have avoided trying a number of those foundations as they contain alcohol. I have dry combo skin. I don’t know if you’ve tried the Fenty hydrating foundation. I find it doesn’t get really greasy in my t-zone compared to some others like Laura Mercier Flawless lumiere foundation.
Hi Gorgeous! ♥️ the round-up idea, please continue. I’m a more natural finish gal, n not a big fan of stick foundations, but you’ve sold me on the TF foundation 🤩! Next stop... Sephora! xo 🥰
I really enjoyed this video style. I haven't tried any of the foundations, but my jaw almost hit the floor when you mentioned the price of the Tom Ford stick foundation! Wow. I think they all looked nice on your skin, Stephanie. You have such beautiful skin. I don't know what pores you are referring to! Thanks for this great video. 💗
Hi Stephanie, I loved how you showed the Foundation transferring on the pillow. I live in South Florida and have the same weather as you with a butt load of humidity!!! ( lol) 70-90% so I am always SWEATING.....I have the same type of skin as you wit the t-zone area.....as a matter of fact my nose right now looks like I can fry an egg on it and I am ALWAYS getting foundation on my paperwork at work. I do try and stop myself from touching my face but I feel like all I do is ERASE foundation!!! With all the foundations that you have worn, tested, purchased and tried can you suggest the BEST one for non transfer.......I am desperate!! I would love to be able to pass on my paperwork foundation free!! Thanks a bunch!!!
I have a bulletproof foundations video in my Top Foundations playlist! Check it out! Of course there are other variables like your skincare and what goes on top of the foundation but that video should help! Thank you!
I am a huge fan of the YSL All Hours. Shade BR10 is a great match, it lasts all day and is one of the very few foundations that doesn't slide off my face in the brutal heat and humidity that is NYC.
I have oily combination skin and pur is one of the best foundations I’ve ever used.. maybe because the weather is getting cooler but I find that I don’t even have to set this foundation and it give a beautiful finish and makes my skin look amazing. Even when I touch my face later on in the day absolutely nothing comes off my face if I drag my finger across my cheek, my nose is a different story bcuz I get a little oily on my t-zone
Love this type of review! I bought 4 new foundations but none of these, so this is really helpful. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the new Charlotte Tilbury. ❤️
I haven't tried any of these foundations however I have similar issues with my skin, oily t-zone....I remember when I tried the It CC Cream....I put it on and it looked so nice, 15 minutes later I was an shiny mess....I have learned more about using it since then but it's far from my favorite. I have heard so many good things about the YSL All Hours, after seeing how beautiful it looked on you and it didn't get shiny on you, sounds good to me! Great reviews and info! Thank you Stephanie🌞
Love this format - please do it for concealers too 👍👍 I didn’t try the Tom Ford on my face but I swatched it on my hand and couldn’t believe how nice it felt - from memory, the Hourglass stick foundation feels like paste in comparison (to me).
Wow! Thank you for all the great info! I like this round-up approach, a lot! I look forward to seeing more on the Pat McGrath foundation. I also had an overall positive experience with the YSL found, but it oxidized on me, so finding the right color match was tricky. I’m trying to go through my makeup stash (and closets and entire house actually) and eliminate excess, so the YSL didn’t make the cut. I’m now using the 1/1 method (1 in = 1 out) which is really forcing me to be more disciplined about new purchases. Eek! Soooo, your reviews are definitely helping me in this process‼️♥️👍🏼xoxo
Hey Stephanie, I really like this roundup of foundations, especially seeing you wearing them which helps a lot. The YSL and the TF stick foundation both look gorgeous on you. There’s several out there and I have a few I wanted to try.. but now I’m intrigued by these two. So many choices and not enough budget lol 😝
Yeap, I love the TF stick foundation. It killed me to pay that much but it lasts forever and looks beautiful on my dry skin. Thanks for the roundup! ❤️
I’ve been enjoying the Milk Flex. I like the application of stick foundation and for everyday natural look this fits the bill. Just like having pretty skin. I live in humid climate also but don’t spend much time outdoors. It might not hold up in that case.
Triec every foundation..took them all back..im 61..so laura mercier skin tint..then cover girl concealer...if i need a touch more..i mix bobbi brown face base with it cosmetics bye bye redness in natural..just a drop of each...dab over melasma or redness..all i need
Thank you for this video because I was going to try the Maybelline Dream, but just like you Thataylaa said it broke her out too. Thanks for saving me 💵
I looooove the tinted moisturizer from Sephora!!!! I actually think it’s more of a BB/CC cream than a tinted moisturizer. (I use 2 thin layers, on days when my mild case of rosacea is more prominent and it covers it well.) I’m not a fan of stick or pot/jar foundations... since I fear that I can’t sanitized them well enough, to avoid rosacea break outs. (Using alcohol for sanitizing can make stick, balm or cream cosmetics kind of hard, guppy and less spreadable, after a few sessions.) I’m also not a fan of foundation that contain chemical sunscreens, fragrance or denatured (or SD) alcohol... because of sensitivity to these.
Hey girl!!! Great and informative video. Do you plan on reviewing the reformulated Shiseido Synchro Skin? I’ve been pretty loyal to the original formula, so it better be good or I’m going to be sad lol.
I’m so glad I found your channel! Wow, I’m sooo impressed with the foundation and concealer posts! I have very similar skin and I was so excited to try the new Smashbox 24 hour full cover foundation but I wore it one day and I find myself always going back to the YSL which is my absolute favorite. I’m trying to find something less expensive but same results and I seem to just continually purchase foundations that don’t do it for me. I use to use the IT cosmetics full coverage foundation in Medium until I tried YSL All Hours!! Any recommendations??!
Love your reviews! Would love to see you review Revision Intellishade, there are 3. I love them for days when I’m not needing foundation, however I ordered the original and my combo skin needs a little powder. I’ll be getting the matte next time.
YES!! A “one stop shop” 😊 so nice to have everything in one video:) You have such beautiful skin - everything looks beautiful on you lol 😉 Thank you for sharing another great video! My 2 new favs are the ABH and the NYX Born To Glow 🥰👍. Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
Really great info on all of these. It’s funny how different formulas perform on different skin types. Although we’re around the same age or skin types are very different. I’m dry with a sometimes combo t zone so a lot of these wouldn’t work for me. They do look lovely on you:)) Thanks so much, love🍃🌸
Yes, yes, yes. Please do the Foundation Roundup. I loved the YSL when I used it. Now viewing your video, I must go back to it. With all the new foundation releases that past few months, I never repurchased it. Now that I think I got my fill fo trying new prodcuts (only 2 out of 10 worked for me) , it is time to return to the success stories. I think the alcohol level being high on the list became a turnoff (same with Chanel Velvet). However, after thinking logically, I do use layers of products before any foundation even touches my face between the serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and primer. Is it really doing any harm and actually penetrating into my skin?
The milk foundation is surprisingly nice... i use it almost more as a concealer, on my chin it covers my redness really well and my nose.... Tom Ford is amazing I agree I have it as well. Really good timing on this video because I looked into the Kevin Aucoin today and I almost purchased it but the reviews were mixed.... good to know yours as well, definitely skipping it. Pat McGrath is pretty nice as well, I’m not crazy in love with it but it’s ok, I think I loved it more with a super glowy base, but I’m very dry (40 years old) Anyway I subbed it’s nice to see reviews from our age range 🙌🏼😊
Did you see my super UP CLOSE makeup look I uploaded Thursday? I use the Pat McGrath in it! Thanks so much for the feedback and for subscribing Trisha! 😘
love the summary format! And you are always so instructive and honest. Great videos! ( and are you working in front of a green screen? Finally started realizing that you're adorable dog is always back there sleeping and rolling around in the same way... Is that my imagination? or is that scene looped behind you? doesnt matter. just curious . the dog is adorable (-:
That's my bedroom and that's just what he does! You must have missed some of the bloopers I throw in at the end of random videos where he goes nuts or my live streams where he loses it when the mail man comes! 😂Thank you for the input and the kind words!
Great video, Stephanie! I just tried the Hourglass Illusion Tint. I have sensitive, combination skin and this foundation looked great. Someone who I didn't know commented on how great my skin looked. You might like this, too.
I found a few shades of the Tom Ford stick foundation on Amazon for 62 dollars!! I decided to buy one. I Love the Loreal stick foundation, so hoping it's like that only better. Thx for your review!!❤❤❤
Haven’t tried any of these yet. I thought I wanted to try the Pür but now I’m not sure. Instead I want to try the YSL thanks to you 😜. I just finally got Estée Lauder Double Wear Light and I’m loving it but my all time favorites is still the Lancôme Skin Feels Good. It’s such a versatile foundation that doesn’t make me an oil slick and it mixes well with almost every other foundation I own. Eta: I like the roundup! I never buy a new foundation as soon as it’s released anyway. Maybe you could do these monthly, bimonthly, or seasonally.
Great review. Tom Ford does lipsticks so well. That looks very pretty. I need to check out the Sephora. Sounds like a hidden gem. I can't do chemical sunscreen either. It breaks me out too. I need to get the YSL. When I finish one of my foundation I am getting it. All the personnel advice you have given me through the years has been spot on. YSL here I come.😁. Have a great week..❌✖❌
#EarlySquad. You and Risa download exact time Ha ha. I love that you did this. I hear the big one that’s all been Positive is Surratt Drops. But it’s Luxury AND OF COURSE ITS MICHELE ON THE SURRATT. HA HA . I also need to go color match and sample shopping.
Yes I do prefer a roundup over single foundation reviews. Great idea
Yay! So glad you like it!
@@StephanieMarie I like it better too. Thank you.
I do, too.🌸
ME TOO!!LOVE getting all the info at once!!
I definitely agree! Loved this type of video.
Stephanie, with so many new foundations being released I think this is a great way to go. Since you address these by name, we don’t wonder your thoughts on each one.
Always love the dog at the background 🐶 ❤️
Foundation Roundup.....great idea. And your choices were a great mix of price, popularity and formula. I liked that it wasn’t just the latest “hype” foundations. Keep this format coming.
I love this format! Please do more like this. I also love YSL-actually all of their foundations. You’re review of Tom Ford stick has intrigued me. I also don’t do well with most stick foundations, but may just have to try this.
I personally have to go very light with application, but product will last longer and look super nice on skin:)
I'm oily so most foundations wipe right off 💕💕💋
Well, think I'm gonna have to buy that Sephora tinted moisturizer now! I was drawn to it in the store, too, and it sounds absolutely perfect!
I’m obsessed with the new Smashbox foundation!! It’s definitely very full coverage though!
I bought the TF stick foundation during the sale as well .. I’m loving it .. beautiful natural finish ❤️❤️❤️
Great video!! Will you be doing a video on applying? I've never used a stick foundation! THANK YOU

Hey Susan! This was my summary/review and the video Thursday is a 'good skin' makeup tutorial using various products. I hope you like it!

Wet n Wild Foundation Stick is a dupe for the Tom Ford stick.
Deb White , thanks for that tip. $88 is so pricy for a foundation.
Thank you for the TF recommendation. I don’t like stick foundations either but love this one! Your review was on the spot! The color match to me was perfect.
Hi! Really enjoyed the info and style on so many new foundations. Definitely packs a great punch content wise! Very satisfying! Thank you!!🙏🏻💜

I like this idea for foundation reviews so much better than single reviews.

Enjoyed this! I also have oily skin and live in a humid climate, and have the same issues - great roundup.

I use stick foundation for my travel. I really like Lancôme stick but I mix with L’Oréal lifallible pro glow foundation and I like how it looks on me.

Great roundup. Thanks Stephanie. How about a Fenty tryout and review.
Great video Stephanie!! Love all the info packed into one video!! And..... your hair looks fabulous!!😊
Thank you! 💗
The foundation you are wearing looks beautiful on you! Thanks for sharing.
Love this type of review! I bought 4 new foundations but none of these, so this is really helpful. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the new Charlotte Tilbury. ❤️
Here you go: th-cam.com/video/cix3JRU_uBg/w-d-xo.html 😘
That's a great idea to be more disciplined! 👍🏼
♥️
I just got the Sephora matte tinted moisturizer and love it too! Please test out the new Mac soft matte stick foundation.
I love this style of foundation roundup!! I want to try that Sephora tinted moisturizer!
The Sephora foundation package remembers me the Givenchy Teint Couture Balm...
I’ve been enjoying the Milk Flex. I like the application of stick foundation and for everyday natural look this fits the bill. Just like having pretty skin. I live in humid climate also but don’t spend much time outdoors. It might not hold up in that case.
Great video, Stephanie. Darn the cost of the Tom Ford! Don’t think I can find a way to rationalize that:(
Thanks Stephanie :-)) Nice to see some other foundations that I've not tried yet :-) oxoxox
Triec every foundation..took them all back..im 61..so laura mercier skin tint..then cover girl concealer...if i need a touch more..i mix bobbi brown face base with it cosmetics bye bye redness in natural..just a drop of each...dab over melasma or redness..all i need
I loved the round up ... getting the low down... down right fast !!! Yay!
just what I needed as I want to update my foundations xxxx
Have you done a review on the new Stila Hide & Chic? Would love to see you review it. Thanks! (it has skin loving ingredients.)
Not yet! My shade is out of stock!
Thank you for this video because I was going to try the Maybelline Dream, but just like you Thataylaa said it broke her out too. Thanks for saving me 💵
I’m glad it helped! 😘
I love, love, LOVE the Pat Mcgrath foundation!
I appreciate the summary videos, you did a great job. I would love to win any of those items, but I love new brushes.
Hey girl!!! Great and informative video. Do you plan on reviewing the reformulated Shiseido Synchro Skin? I’ve been pretty loyal to the original formula, so it better be good or I’m going to be sad lol.
The YSL is my holy grail!
LOVE the roundup!!!
Great video Stephanie!❤️ Love this format- super helpful and efficient especially with so many new foundations out right now!😁
Love your reviews! Would love to see you review Revision Intellishade, there are 3. I love them for days when I’m not needing foundation, however I ordered the original and my combo skin needs a little powder. I’ll be getting the matte next time.
YES!! A “one stop shop” 😊 so nice to have everything in one video:)
You have such beautiful skin - everything looks beautiful on you lol 😉
Thank you for sharing another great video!
My 2 new favs are the ABH and the NYX Born To Glow 🥰👍.
Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
Thank you!! :)
Oh dear, I am interested in the pricey Tom Ford and YSL foundations. Abby Bliss White also recommended the TF. :-)
Really great info on all of these. It’s funny how different formulas perform on different skin types. Although we’re around the same age or skin types are very different. I’m dry with a sometimes combo t zone so a lot of these wouldn’t work for me. They do look lovely on you:))
Thanks so much, love🍃🌸
This exactly Veronica. The layers plus if you alternate with other foundations. 😘
I’m liking a bit less coverage lately, but long lasting at the same time. Wondering what your favorite BB or CC cream would be.
That will be a video added to my Top Foundations playlist. :)
Thanks for this!!! Can’t wait to try the Tom Ford😊
Love this format. 😁
Thank you! 😘
Pat McGrath is pretty nice as well, I’m not crazy in love with it but it’s ok, I think I loved it more with a super glowy base, but I’m very dry (40 years old)
Anyway I subbed it’s nice to see reviews from our age range 🙌🏼😊
L’Oréal 24 hour freshwear for this 50 year-old face by far the best for normal/dry skin.
Just found another TF foundation stick on Mercari for 38 dollars! :) I found this app through Ashley ( Glamour Index)
Love this video from you! Very helpful!
I use iT CC cream and love it! I haven't gone out of my way to try other things because I'm happy with what I'm using.
I love the iT CC cream as well. It is my go to
Great review.
Stephanie can you recommend a good cc cream for oily skin? Thank you so much. Love your recommendations and trust your opinions!!!
I'll be doing a video on this soon! :)
We enjoy the same products so any foundation video from you is amazing!!!
Aw Thank you so much Melania!
Really loved the round up video 💕💕
Love the way you did this! Great video 😁
Thanks Tara!
YSL is divine. I love the finish.
Michele is always on the luxury! 😂💞
