Nice, you guys finally got a front loader now :D
The one and only loader I fitted with my cousin was a quicky onto a Ford 6600 what torture a week after putting it on engine went had to strip it all off again and replace engine nearly went mad .The case is lovely bus
Great video, know nothing about machinery but enjoy watching people working on them. Looking forward to seeing you fitting the front loader. Cheers.
The small bolts on the top of the diesel filter housing is what your meant to open and when closing them I’ve always been told to keep pumping the diesel to not let air get a chance to lock it and only open the banjo bolt if absolutely necessary as it’ll have a copper crush washer on it and you’ll have to replace it every time or every other time.
Luke Harcus no you don’t need to open them nuts above the filters because when u open that Bolt at the end your getting rid of all the air, always bleed as near to the pump as you can. We had no air locks doing it this way.
Great job, Typical to get a phone call when your hand are full and there's oil everywhere lol
Have been watching your videos for a wee while now ,you remind me of my late uncle from Orkney ,his love for farming was like yours ,he also had a dairy farm and was as meticulous as you are ,so thank you for sharing your life on the farm .
Thomas Anderson glad your enjoying the Thomas 👍
Mighty stuff Adrian!!!!! Love getting the old hands especially under the nails and in the cracks of the palms and fingers with grease and burnt oil!!!!! Stay safe and mind the lingo when IT WILL GO WRONG at some stage but for a small thing only with gods help like a grazed knuckle for example lol!!!!
Good decision to hold onto that tractor. Will be a great addition with the loader fitted. Looking forward to seeing the end result.
you need to charge the new oil filter { soak} with fresh oil before you install or the oil in the system will contaminate the filter medium.
3 years out of a filter... you cavan men really love to get as much value as possible out of things! 😂
If shes not blue she'll not do I let fresh air into the cab every day 😉
You're channel has grown so much adrian 30k views on a video is loads and I love the content
Justin Bryce cheers lad 👍
When you use an exhaust cutter to remove an oil filter... amazing !!
That’s actually a filter wrench for that purpose, I’ve often used a hammer and screw driver or evening an angle grinder if it p****d me off enough 😉
IFarm WeFarm that’s very accurate if I ever have something that needs a little convince I normally break out the grinder 😂😂
Thanks for thinking about us with the light
The next time u service a tractor can u do a vid on how to service it please
The battery trays on all farm equipment seems to rot. What I have seen people do when the base corrodes is weld bars across the base, because then the water has no where to sit and runs straight out
Great stuff Adrian them filter wrenches are some job 👌🏻👍🏻
Good job on the video, as again great content with the calf’s, interesting I use garlic to keep bugs away in NYC
another great video. cant wait to see the job finished! any chance of another milking video! miss seeing the cows!!
Great honest vlog A. can't wait for next one, stay safe🇮🇪☘
Dodge76 cheers lad, you too
That Case is in great nick for a near 30 year old tractor - it's a credit to both yourself and the previous owner. I suppose it's no surprise, seeing as it's on a Monaghan reg plate!!!!!
Well done only for WD40 we would have to angle grind. The phone never stops for you tube. Clean tractor well worth keeping. Will be an asset with loder 👍
Great video as always keep up the great video
Great job 👍 thanks 👍
You must have served your time in a tractor garage lad.....seem to know what your doing. I got a new Rossmore FL60 loader fitted to my 390T 4 years ago, also got bucket, grape & soft hands with it, best investment I ever made. Selling the old loader and brackets cheap if anyone is interested. Best of luck with next part of this project.
Philip McVeigh Never served a minute but always had the interest, 390T are a sweet tractor
I always change fuel filters first, I tip the fuel out of filter into the engine- just the same as engine flush!
The case will be a deadly wee tractor when you put the loader on it adrian if you ever want to make the plastic look nice on tractors and all I've herd of people using heat guns
The mighty Massey in the background 🤣
Loving service👍 don’t know if I have the patience especially starting job that requires extra parts n time, but great start👍
Great vid Love them
I recon ya should put a nice chrome exhaust on the tractor and shed look lovely
Happy days , been waiting for this 😁😁
The case 885 is my favrot tractor
Ya should of tried to get a loader for the massey
For the straps around the thank just cut the nuts off then take off the straps cut the bolt off the straps and weld a bolt on to them no need to get new straps and you have the tank off in a few minutes
I can imagine what you would have said after spilling the oil only for your little lady was there !
That's a sweet looking Polo Shirt😁
Alan Clyde good man Alan, there actually very comfortable. good luck with them new Tyres on the merlo 👌👍
@@IFarmWeFarm will get chatting to you before long. And the tyres were we'll overdue haha
Why didn’t you use a funnel? Always use an old sheet of cardboard underneath a yoke in case of spills.
Tomherbs I’ve never actually spilled oil like that before, to bust concentrating on the camera, I sweep dust from the yard onto it and it soaks it up perfectly. wouldn’t see it now.
Hi Adrian, it would be much better if the oil filter was mounted facing down the way. Can't believe you put on two white diesel filters, what were you thinking😂
There’s a little drain nut but under the filter to drain it before you remove it but I didn’t bother as it was all caught anyhow. Ya I couldn’t get black diesel filters any where, I did try though 😂😂
That's a grand disc mower you have. There a great yoke for topping. What width is it
Maria Dowling 8ft, Great machine
Wel adrian When ar you doin the difference between disc mower and topper thats one id like to see. And its alot to ask but could you do 2 videos a week cause i cant get enough of them.
Callum McGinn will be doing that video soon Callum, thanks for watching 👍
Yikes, be careful taking pto off mower when the engine is running... Don't get me wrong we all do it but I always am a bit conscious it could just start up if there was a switch problem or if the pto clutch (if present) got disengaged by accident. Great videos by the way, you have a very very tidy yard.
Mike Kinsella it a level on the case, it’s that stiff that it takes a lot of force to engage it, perfectly safe. Thanks lad 👍
Don’t set your battery on concrete as it will drain the battery set it on wood etc
Were u from
Lovely tidy example, What's the idea of the second hand primer right after the stock one?
Joe Casserly it was on it when I got it, they both do the same thing
if you don't have a primer on your tractor is it worth filling the diesel filters with diesel treatment instead
Is that white diesel in the tractor??????
Robert Mckee no Green Diesel
Great video. Any idea when the next video on it will be.
Adam Horgan this Thursday morning we will have one doing cattle work
You might want to write the date and hours on the filters so you can easily see when service is due again.
Gerbert Gerbert no I don’t write the hours as I service both tractors every year at the same time regardless of the hours, but of a routine works better. If I was contracting then writing down the hours would make more sense
How is it the mobile will ring at the most convenient time ,,lol 👍
You had luck on your side more than once on that, if spilling a bit of oil is worst thing that happened you still had a good day in my book.
nice video adrain make a video on the 4270
ytwill caseyt don’t have a 4270, do you mean the 6470
@@IFarmWeFarm yea
What's the work situation over in Ireland
How much hp dose the case have
Cian Owens about 95hp when new, a few horses may have broken out since then but not many
Adrian is the 4wd propshaft guard cover missing
Nick Hill it could be, I never actually passed any remarks as it was like that when I got it
Are you going to get bale handler's for the front loader
Paul Sweeney yes very soon
How many cattle do u have
Hi adrian
Hi

Were hoping to have our broadband running correctly again by the weekend, very poor at the minute hence the reason this video is only up now rather than sunday, live feed needs a good connection to work properly. fingers crossed very soon
