1 thing to note, set is wayyyyyyy easier to play on pc than console and that can be said with a lot of characters. but with set... its a reallllyyyyy big difference, so console players, the tips maybe helpful but dont be too annoyed if you dont get the mechanics off too well in the start

I found him super easy to use straight away on console and just got him at 3k worshipers
I started playing smite this year in February and set has easily been my favorite god, I’ve already gotten 2 stars on him and I just love watching people play him when he isn’t banned or in casual.

I started season 4, was top 1% season 5 and 6 and stopped playing after 😭
I started a little later than you but in the last two weeks, set has really been the only god I enjoy playing. I have him at a 5 rn and I'm going for stars on him so ye hopefully I get there.

@@Sticklee1 Yes but that wasn’t him pinging the rotation. It was like 15-20 seconds later at least. He clear a mid wave and mid was missing without calling it.

I feel like it’s different for everyone, cuz for some reason set is easy for me to play but I always find Kali super hard.

Man i find kali infinitely less technical than set 😭. Shes loads easier to stay alive with than set
Guess its the difference between mobility of the two. Sets mobility can be pretty nuts, with Kali if you jump in, then you have to commit to the fight with no escape. Which is why its always better if you can just sneak behind someone or blink and save the jump for kill confirm or escape.
@@Meitti that's honestly right on the nose, kali escape or engage with jump is one ability, sets a combination of two abilities

He ran through the entire team because they were garbage. Zero antiheal, and lvl 13 cu chu at 20 min lol. As for Terra dmg, the burst is fun and you don't need your team to follow up thankfully. I also like Bacchus dmg

Trancendes is grate on set if you have a lid or you dont need to rush anti heal and you dont realy need to buy it soon you can go on it as a theard item
i started playing set a few days ago, played with him in arena to get used to his kit, then went into a game and went 14-3 in 12 minutes. the other team surrendered. he’s op
He isn't OP, he just has a strong and rewarding kit. He's still weak to certain things and most definitely counterable. What ELO were you playing in? If you say it was in Arena then it doesn't count, Arena is the arcade mode of Smite.
When you master him it's game over, plus the hybrid items being kinda op rn it's such a good meta for Set.

@@chokonnit7337 Ao kuang can but way more damage than any maces build he have items that gives 100 plus power lol. maces are just good for burst and get worst than other builds against protections.

honestly set is my favorite god and i have the most time played with him and I always do a lot better if i build him bruiser rather than full dmg. I always just build basically full damage and leave one item slot open for a mantle of discord or a hide of the urchin

Also it may not be smart to do, but I like popping his 3 when ulting someone. His 3 ticks a lot, so you can get tons of healing off and minions spawned from autoing someone down in the sandstorm
You should always 3 when you ult as set.

Bruh people need to understand that you dont have to rotate every time enemy is gone missing and you see it
Pinging sometimes is enough when you are behind and dont want to fight
If allies listen to you and go under tower for how long enemy is missing you can safely push your lane and get this farm and enemy will lose it
Always following is bronze mentality and people getting mad from not following are just noobs, listen to pings and if I ping ss dont engage at the same time because it your fault not mine

I literally didn't know you could spawn the minon thing alot whilst ulting I thought it spawned it for you after 3 hits or something. Mind blown 😳
It spawns if you alr have 2 full charges on your ability so you can decide if you wanna spawn it yourself or let the ability spawn it for you
the ult summons them for you and each time it summons them for you it also resets your own minion cooldown so you can be spamming the minions yourself + your ult is also spamming them so there will be one million .
Apart form him being challenging for new players his damage seems to be really high when you hit combos right

no it provides movement speed and MP5 which is essential to early game farm and rotations for junglers
