I know! Which makes her hook up with Sean Penn all the more puzzling. To go from yearning for sirloin steak (Fassbender) to beef jerky (Penn)...I don't get it.

I totally agree with Arthur! I've watched several interview clips of them (Charlize and Michael) either in a group or just the two of them and she is SO obviously into him, and she makes any excuse to flirt or to touch the man!

Untrue. Imagine people in the theater who had no idea it was an Alien movie, seeing the beginnings and then catching that last scene. I can't even think what kind of a revelation that would be for them. For us, it's a nice little treat to help bridge the gap. Again they do not come out and make the connections, it's up to us to talk about it. One scene does not make or ruin a movie. I hope the sequels won't ruin this first movie for you. It's a bleak movie and it should not end on hope.
