Thanks for the video! For anyone doing the puddle light, do NOT use a tool on the mirror. You can fit one finger behind the mirror to grab the lower clip (look at the video to see where the clip is, but you'll see it on the car as well), pop that one out by spreading the black clip away from white piece. Once one clip comes off, undo the other lower one and work your way to the two top clips. The tool has a high chance of breaking your mirror and a mirror is NOT $35 anymore... As for putting the puddle light back in and signal light, everything clicks into place.
that double sided tape that you see when he pulls the mirror off, should I scrape that off and put new double sided tape there when I'm putting it back together?
Great pointers and level of detail in the instructional video. Easy to follow and saves a lot of time. I may have missed it but what's the difference between standard and premium?
I just finished my 90% car THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! this is by far the best of the best, the lights that I am afraid of are the puddle lights. Definitely would like to know about that adhesive if it's necessary before pulling it apart
Very informative step by step video but the cost for the set of LED bulbs is beyond outrageous. One dollar per LED is pretty much standard. I replaced all bulbs which I believe are 15 total including the trunk for about 20 bucks. All super bright LED and no issues.
I feel like I'm going to break the mirror to replace the puddle lights. It looks so easy for you to pop off the mirror. Any tips? Where are you putting the pressure point with the plastic tool? Is it right on the 4 corner tabs?
Hey so I was following your video an once I got my puddle light on an twist the click to go back in place to test it. My car does not lock or unlock nor do the automatic lights work, do you have any suggestions?
Yes, that is correct, the process would be very similar, if not identical to as shown in the video. I have linked the proper kit for your GS350 below for your convenience. www.precisionled.com/lexus-gs-premium-led-interior-package-2012-present.html
All of the bulbs in the video, except the reverse light, would use a T10 6SMD LED, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-6smd-5730-led.html The reverse light would use a T10 10SMD bulb, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-10smd-5730-led.html
how long this bulbs usually last cause I have to replaced the front dome/map lights 2 time already, plus I thought they supposed to last longer than the factory lights.
I have just changed all on my is300h to LEDs. Thank you for the video. How about the turn signals? I heard they need load resistors. Can you make a video on that and the best load resistors or best way of installing them. Thanks
Wow I really like how detailed you are about showing he to replace all bulbs too bad I bought my lights from ijdmtoy didn’t know you there is another company selling good quality led bulbs thumbs up 👍 will check out the website thanks
The Premium package includes 4 map and 2 dome LEDs. You also have the option to add 2 footwell, 1 trunk, 2 door, 2 vanity mirror, 2 turn signal puddle lights, and 2 reverse LEDs via the dropdown menus on the package.
I am very interested in doing the light swap. What exact package did you get for all of the lights you installed and which extra options do I need? Thank you!
Thank you for your interest. Here is a direct product link: www.precisionled.com/lexus-is-premium-led-interior-lights-kits-2014-present.html If you were looking to copy the video with the installation, you would add all of the additional options on the package.
Thank you for your interest. Yes, the footwell and dome LEDs would use the same T10 bulb type. Also, yes, this video is compatible with the 2015 IS250 Sport.
hiii sorry not sure where to ask this but my interior lights won't turn on at all after I found it was turned on all night, the battery is fine but none of the lights work like the rear and front map, how may I fix this
You would purchase the Premium kit, as well as all of the additional added options in order to match the installation shown in the video. Also, we do not sell turn signal LEDs, as they would hyper flash when ignited.
Thank you for your interest. Yes, I have linked our 2006-2013 Lexus IS page below for your convenience. All the products listed would be compatible with your vehicle. www.precisionled.com/shop-by-vehicle/lexus.html?cat=915
I broke my mirror. Mine has the blind spot monitoring, defrost and auto dimming like the one in the video, where do you find a $35 replacement? Need your help!
How much did you end up getting the replacement mirror for? $35 is incredibly misleading. I broke mine also doing this and got a used mirror off ebay that cost almost $400 CAD shipped. (Auto dimming/heat). Messing around with these mirrors is high consequence.
Sorry, the one that we had to replace did not have blind spot monitoring. You would have to look up the part # for the mirror glass and find the replacement part on ebay.
The 3rd gen IS front dome and map lights are pathetic compared to the ones on the 2nd gen IS. The 2nd gen IS had LED for the map lights AND... very important, they were directional so they would only hit the lap area of the driver and passenger side, so if the passenger had it ON, the driver wouldn’t even notice. For some ridiculous no-sense reason, Lexus decided to go back to old school map lights which shine so bright on the face of the driver that are useless. I complained several times to Lexus when I gave in my 2nd gen IS350 and got the 3rd gen IS350 F Sport. They did not address the issue at all after the face lift in the middle of it as when I got the newer 3rd gen IS350 F Sport, it is still the same. I believe the reason was because of older drivers complaining about new technology somehow... and Lexus was stupid enough to listen to them. Idiots.
Thank you for your interest. Tools for the installation are included in any LED package. However, if you just wanted to purchase the tools, here is a direct product link: www.precisionled.com/trim-tool.html
Is there a way to have the foot well lights come on with the headlamps? The interior of this car is so dark at night and I miss the blue mood lighting my Acura used to have

that double sided tape that you see when he pulls the mirror off, should I scrape that off and put new double sided tape there when I'm putting it back together?
@@Gi1b2bz Nope, the original tape will hold so as long as the clips are fully pressed back in.
This was an awesome video. I didn’t buy your specific lights but the installation/removing old light instructions were awesome. Thanks!
Glad to hear we could help!
Great pointers and level of detail in the instructional video. Easy to follow and saves a lot of time. I may have missed it but what's the difference between standard and premium?
Please refer to this video for the differences between standard and premium:

I noticed when removing the side mirrors, it seemed like a white adhesive was taken off. Will that affect how the side mirrors hold into place?
Kevin L. did you do it?
I noticed the same thing, the white adhesive was pulled out. Maybe when he puts it back in the adhesive is still enough to fill it in.
No, it should not affect how they hold in place!
I just finished my 90% car THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! this is by far the best of the best, the lights that I am afraid of are the puddle lights. Definitely would like to know about that adhesive if it's necessary before pulling it apart
Thank you for tuning in! Glad your install went well, and in our experience, the adhesive shouldn't affect the installation process.
Very informative step by step video but the cost for the set of LED bulbs is beyond outrageous. One dollar per LED is pretty much standard. I replaced all bulbs which I believe are 15 total including the trunk for about 20 bucks. All super bright LED and no issues.
where fid you get them from ya don't mind me asking? and Brand name?
I feel like I'm going to break the mirror to replace the puddle lights. It looks so easy for you to pop off the mirror. Any tips?
Where are you putting the pressure point with the plastic tool? Is it right on the 4 corner tabs?
Two on the top and two on the bottom, you just kind of have to feel around with the tool gently and pull until you hear a click.
I have to say the reading lights on old generation (2005-2013) are more advanced just like airlines planes.
👍
Awesome this is how a tutorial video should be made even I could do this thanks
Thank you for the positive feedback!
Thanks, this was very helpful!
Thank you for the video! Exactly what I was looking for!
We are glad to be of assistance!
I couldn't figure out how to remove the internal cover to get to the personal spot bulbs on 2015 LEXUS LX 570. Ant
y help?
Hey so I was following your video an once I got my puddle light on an twist the click to go back in place to test it. My car does not lock or unlock nor do the automatic lights work, do you have any suggestions?
Anyone know how to replace the foot well light on the passenger side?
The side mirror glass is NOT cheap! Be careful and not break it during the puddle light switch.
Thanks for the advice!
16: 42 Remove only bulb cover. No needed to take the whole housing
Noted, thanks for the tip!
Great video. Would this process be the same for a 2014 gs 350 F sport? If so, do you offer the bulbs needed for all interior?
Yes, that is correct, the process would be very similar, if not identical to as shown in the video. I have linked the proper kit for your GS350 below for your convenience.
www.precisionled.com/lexus-gs-premium-led-interior-package-2012-present.html
Trying to reassemble the side mirror was bit of a challenge. It was hard to keep the puddle light and turn indicator in place.
We hope the video helped out!
This a very nice and clear video. Please assist with information on how to know the LED types for a 2013 RX350.
All of the bulbs in the video, except the reverse light, would use a T10 6SMD LED, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-6smd-5730-led.html
The reverse light would use a T10 10SMD bulb, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-10smd-5730-led.html
I have a 2015 es 350....what size is that bulb?
Thank you. How about the front and rear blinkers or traffic lights?
We do not sell the turn signal LEDs, as they would hyper flash when ignited.
That’s illegal to have LED blinkers bro
how long this bulbs usually last cause I have to replaced the front dome/map lights 2 time already, plus I thought they supposed to last longer than the factory lights.
Great video
Thanks!
Are these all T10 size light bulbs??
Yes, that is correct!
Can u plz make a video for lexus GS 2007
Here is a GS video: th-cam.com/video/glFrUyCW_8Q/w-d-xo.html
Although it is not on a 2007, the installation process should be very similar.
I have just changed all on my is300h to LEDs. Thank you for the video. How about the turn signals? I heard they need load resistors. Can you make a video on that and the best load resistors or best way of installing them.

Thank you for tuning in!
My foot lighting is not working although the bulb works, any ideas?
I have read of issues regarding LED bulbs messing with the cars ECU. Any issues to report on this vehicle?
Hi! Our LEDs are canbus equipped so you will not experience any dash errors or other issues.
So how many bulbs would I need to do my whole interior including the puddle lights?
How many bulbs are there in the premium LED package?
The Premium package includes 4 map and 2 dome LEDs. You also have the option to add 2 footwell, 1 trunk, 2 door, 2 vanity mirror, 2 turn signal puddle lights, and 2 reverse LEDs via the dropdown menus on the package.

Thank you, best instructional video so far!
+Duke Nguy Thanks!
Hello,
Are footwell LED's same as Dome bulbs? Also is this instruction video for 15 is 250 sport?
Thank you for your interest. Yes, the footwell and dome LEDs would use the same T10 bulb type. Also, yes, this video is compatible with the 2015 IS250 Sport.

Thank you for reaching out. It sounds as though you may have blown a fuse. In which case, simply replace it and you should be up and running again!
Great help
Glad to help! Thanks for watching!
Hello< buying premium kit will have all the led showed in the video?, is there any solution for rear turning lights?
thank you
You would purchase the Premium kit, as well as all of the additional added options in order to match the installation shown in the video. Also, we do not sell turn signal LEDs, as they would hyper flash when ignited.
Is there a led kit also for my 2010 Lexus is?
Thank you for your interest. Yes, I have linked our 2006-2013 Lexus IS page below for your convenience. All the products listed would be compatible with your vehicle.
www.precisionled.com/shop-by-vehicle/lexus.html?cat=915
is this cool white or crystal white in the video?
The 8000K cool white is used for the entire installation.
I broke my mirror. Mine has the blind spot monitoring, defrost and auto dimming like the one in the video, where do you find a $35 replacement? Need your help!

Thank you for the suggestion. We will keep an eye out for one out here in Los Angeles for a video shoot. Subscribe for updates!
Thank You!

🤷♂️
Will these LEDs mess up the electrical current of my car? 2014 lexus IS250 F-sport.
Thank you for your interest. Absolutely not, as we have done extensive testing to ensure it is 100% safe to install our LEDs on your vehicle.
Where can I buy that tool to remove the plastic? Haha.
Thank you for your interest. Tools for the installation are included in any LED package. However, if you just wanted to purchase the tools, here is a direct product link: www.precisionled.com/trim-tool.html
Which premium lights were you using 6000 k or 8000k
6000K
thank you..
You are very welcome!
Will this work with a 2018?
Yes, the installation process will be very similar, if not identical to what is shown in this installation video.
Is there a way to have the foot well lights come on with the headlamps? The interior of this car is so dark at night and I miss the blue mood lighting my Acura used to have
Unfortunately, I don't think so. 🙁
Does this package come with reverse and license plate LED bulbs? I do not get those options on the website.
+LRNZH AA It does not include either.
How bout the license plate lights? Couldn't figure out how to get to those
The license plate lights would be stock LED, which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.
Do you have any other light color temp like 4100k natural?
The 6000K would be a pure crystal white color, and would be the closest color to stock LEDs.
Did u use 6000k or 8000k?
In the video, the 6000K color temperature is used.
i only came here to listen to the music :)
Haha, thanks!
Too bright
thanks so much!!!
Thanks a lot !
Thank you for watching!
