This message is a perfect example of non-Christians watching a video clip of a congregation passionately praising God, and commenting with, “If church was like this every Sunday, then I’d definitely attend!” This isn’t to say that the praise of the congregation isn’t rooted in truth (although, sadly, such is the case for some); but rather, it speaks volumes of how easily our emotions can manipulate us- especially when disguised as sincerity. Dancing and praising are both good things, but if you base your decision on how animated members of a congregation can become, then not only are you simply looking to be entertained instead of educated, but you’re also revealing how out of touch you are with God, in the first place.
Great Bible study, deep, sound & thoughtful as usual. Bless the Lord 4 brother Daniel! I can't make it how people handle this life with no or tiny room/religious box for Christ. Especially in this chaotic timing we live in. That's grievous! I'm grateful 2 the Lord 4 my family, & health, & living facilities, all His wonderful provisions, but I need Him just as it's Him. He is so real! Nobody & nothing can substitute Him, I've experimented. If I abide in Jesus, I'm fine just with a cent in a pocket.
