I probably won't receive a reply since this video is 11 months old.. However, I have a question about the tax exemption on overseas income under this LTR VISA. Is this tax exemption the same as before where the overseas income is non-taxable if it is brought into the country after a year? Or is the tax exemption also including overseas income that is brought into the country immediately when made? I don't see much talk about this and it is a potential game changer.

Thank you for the information. A question regarding the wealthy pensioner, if you already bought a condo over 250.000 USD in Thailand are you then fulfilling the requirement on investment or do you need to buy again a property/bonds of at least 250.000 USD?

    • @sawasdeethailand999

It depend you are applying in which category such as Wealthy pensioner or work from Thailand professional
If you own property in your name value 250,000 usd It ll be fine and you use this 250,000 usd to add up others criteria to meet all requirements
      Thanks for comment

I think having options is great. I am really happy to see that the Thai government are offering more choices to work and retire in Thailand!

For the bank requirements, will the Bank of Bangkok in New York (dollar account) work to show the Thai immigration rather than depositing funds locally in Thai Baht? I was asking because the Thai Baht devalue easily compared to the US dollar. Please advise.
