It's been a while since I've read the books, but I'll try my best: Winter stalked into the large iced room, the NightWing postured in an almost dance-like position. His brother followed close behind. The dragonet could feel how cold his brother was; He'd never admit it to him, or anyone, but how steely, how quiet he had been during their walk here filled him with a kind of unease. He'd been here... Somehow. Winter studied that dragon encased in ice, somewhat confused on what to do. Seeking direction, he turned to Hailstorm, who himself looked maddened. Winter's ears folded back and he stopped himself from saying a word. With a singular claw, he tapped the dragon's snout before jumping back as if his claws hsd iceburn. Nothing. With the spear, this time. This time, this moment, the dragon woke up. A NightWing. This revelation didn't settle the IceWings' battles, but as she recovered, she expected to be stabbed... Again. Winter's ear folded back and he glanced down at the spear. Moon wouldn't want this. His jaw clenched and again the swirl of confusing, angeringly confusing emotiond washed around in his head, a snowstorm scowering everything he knew to be right. He shoul hate her. He should hate them. It was normal. Was it, though? Was it normal to hate someone who didn't need to be hated? No. It was what needed to be done. For reasons beyond Winter's understanding, he shut his eyes as he stabbed the NightWing in the chest, only opening them when the grating sounds of ice on scales ended. His ears were subject to more as a spear scalloped hmits way through his neck. Not enough time to scream, not enough time to yell in pain, to snarl curses. Only enough time to choke on the dark blue blood that spilled out of his neck and coated his talons in spirals of flesh. More pain sprouted along with blood, and Winter held his neck. The dragonet looked to his brother who stood, holding the slaughter-covered spear at his side with a gaze of... Regret? Solidarity? With how dizzy Winter's eyes were getting, it was hard to tell. Even more so when pain of ice grew tbroughout his body. He let out a discomforted wail of pain and backed away simply to watch his talons freeze. Winter had seen a lot of things in his life. Death, animus magic, Moon, the school, wars. Yes, some of it had frightened him, but not being able to feel his claws, being unable to move, feeling a cooling stillness entire his extremities, one that he had no control over scared him, mire so than anything ever had. A radiating pain in the back of his eyes pulsated as he looked to Hailstorm for something, snythign that said he wanted to save him. And yet that steely gaze persisted, and if Winter had ears to fold, they'd be flattened underneath his neck. Hailstorm's body appeared to jolt to Winter, most likely just tensed to throw the spear, and instead of getting simply stuck, it broke his brother's head off entirely. Even now, Winter hadn't expected this. This loss of feeling, this dissociation from his body refused to leave. All he could do was watch the world go black. Then listen to his boy crumple. After that, there were no sounds. No sounds of his blood crytallizing, or of his brother crying, if he had, nothing. There was nothing le---
This almost fits with an Arctic/Darkstalker death-swap AU of mine, except it was Darkstalker ending poor Winter... Amazing art as always! I love seeing your videos.
Winter has always been a favorite of mine, and this even makes me like him better. I've also been watching your videos for years, and it makes me extremely happy to watch your awesome art style improve and get even better!
Thinking about Winter’s death like this is, pun not intended, *very* chilling. Meeting Foeslayer, I would argue, was a pivotal moment for him because he discovered that his feelings for Moon weren’t unnatural, and that he didn’t have to hate another tribe simply because he *had* to. He started to become a better person after meeting Foeslayer, and to have his death portrayed at the moment where he meets Foeslayer is so symbolic of what his character could’ve been. I apologize if I’ve missed some things about his character - it’s been a while since I’ve read the books. Beautiful art and portrayal of Winter, Dragonsheep. 🩵🩵

A few ideas (SPOILERS AHEAD): Bad end for Kinkajou-if she died on the NightWing island Bad end for Turtle-if everyone else was bewitched by Darkstalker and he was the only sane one, slowly loosing said sanity overtime Bad end for Qibli-if he accepted Darkstalker’s deal Bad end for Peril-if she never figured out she was bewitched and slowly lost her mind to Scarlet once more
Ooh, this is super good! I'm excited to see what other ideas you'll have! For Turtle I can see you doing one of these things: having Turtle killed by Anemone during their fight, or having him burned alive by Darkstalker
I'm assuming it's gonna be the fight with anemone, there's a lot more possibility for horrible, bloody deaths than just being burned alive, I mean thats a little simple, and turtle accidentally made himself invincible *permanently* before the darkstalker thing so removing that for the violence would kinda make it a bit more boring, like the previous one while it probably cant really happen lore wise, I think its a cool idea that moon could get so overloaded with the visions and all the her head would basically just implode, and this one is if winter was killed during the diamond trial, but if we just removed turtles whole *being invincible* just to make him a little on the toasty side I think it would be a little boring imo also idk why I made the comment this long, I'm not trying to be mean or anything it was meant to just be a side comment but I kinda got too into explaining my thoughts lol, thanks for reading and have a great day

@@basaltcrust1915 well thanks for understanding my reasons and yes I do like qibil and as for favorite characters it's always hard for me qibil is my sandwing ( sunny is 2nd) darkstarker is my villain and Nightwing ( 2nd is starflight) but character overall it's very hard I love all arc 1 and 2 cast ( with several exceptions for those I hate with a fiery passion) but yes and omg it must've been hard for her not to do anything but yes I do agree with what you said and your welcome and thanks if you ever read mine if your not busy

Ideas for the rest of the Jade Winglet - Kinkajou: She never wakes up from the coma when Chameleon threw her into a tree. Turtle: Anemone kills him in their animus fight in book nine. Umber: He dies in the fire Sora started with the bomb. Peril: Ruby decides that she's too dangerous for Pyrrhia and kills her after the battle with Scarlet. Qibli: He accept Darkstalker's offer then kills him with magic, but the power is too much for a regular dragon and he dies in the process.
I feel like kinkajou never waking up is too tame for this so my next best guess is chameleon splattering her against the wall like a bug, but thats assuming she'll be drawn at all, also that's a pretty good idea for qibli, kinda similar to moons, it easily couldve happened and allows for a lot of brutality in the drawing, also I feel like peril being impaled by a spear or something is a little simple for these, but ive genuinely got no clue since peril was never exactly put into any *peril* (i kill me) besides the necklace removing her main defence, but no one knew that but really I guess anything can happen if we're going for horrible deaths, also I just realized that with the qibli thing since turtle turned anemone into an animus without any side effects then I'm not sure how qibli would have issues (am I thinking about this too much?) So maybe instead its a thing where *obviously* darkstalker added something onto that besides animus powers, so maybe have darkstalker kill qibli that way, but also speaking of anemone if were saying umber is a main character then maybe we could get a horrible death for anemone too, cant think of anything right now and this reply is getting way too long as it is, so I like your ideas, thanks for reading and have a good day, sorry for any typos I was typing this really fast lol

I dont know why, I really am way too old to be feeling this strongly about anything, but I hate this (in a good way) like it gives me such a horrible feeling that I cant really describe, like let me tell you something, when I got the notification earlier today I saw the title as I went to swipe away the notification (dont ask why I bother swiping them away, idk) I was like "oh no not him too:(((" and then when I was about to swipe ot away I saw the thumbnail and since I was currently talking with friends I was a bit more vocal with my reaction and I literally audibly said *"OH MY GOD!"* like I'm not even kidding, and now many hours later I go into my subscribed tab to see this video to see it full screen and when I get to your video and see the thumbnail I just get a weirdly intense horrible feeling, like ive literally never felt that way besides when I am personally playing a horror game that isnt some crappy roblox "horror" game (very rare occurrence) like its insane and I feel cringe for feeling this intensely about it lol, but idk maybe the word is dread, or maybe the picture made me feel uneasy, the only thing I've got an idea of is the fact that its probably not nice to see some of your favorite characters in any media ever, be brutalized, I just dont like it(that means I do like it) i mean I just got over moons and now you have to upload this and not only remind me of the moon one but now you gotta fuck with winter too lol you, my friend have made some pretty good horror that has somehow gotten an unreasonably strong reaction out of me, it makes me very unhappy in a good way, also since I had like 5 ideas for what this comment could be so I also wanna ask Why'd you have to do winter like that man:(((((((((((((((((((((((( (SPOILERS)But also like what next? Yo Dragon sheep, I’m having trouble getting participants for my How to let go Clearsight map call, and I think it would help if a youtuber with a bigger following could share the map call on their community posts, or just mention it. Death of the main characters? Isn't it too cruel for them? Slavery and no choice would be better, but at least they would live. So tell me, Dragon, what do you think is better (I will give an example using the heroes of Pantala), to be a soldier of the Queen, whom she does not control, when one of them voluntarily follows her, and to follow her to the end, then having received everything you need for a great life. Or die for what you could not achieve, victory over evil, what they could not cope with? Just imagine that Cricket, Blue, Swordtail, Sundew, Willow, and those who were their friends, except for the Chrysalis rebels. They all live with their lovers, in good cells and at the same time have literally everything. But the price for this good life is constant service to Osya, her sisters or her other older followers. In my opinion, this is a bad ending, since they did not stop the Evil, in this case the Queen and her sisters, but at the same time their life got better.
Explanation I think: In the diamond caves, clear sight tricked hailstorm into stabbing winter, therefore winter froze and shattered. / pls give feed back and j will edit

I dont know why, I really am way too old to be feeling this strongly about anything, but I hate this (in a good way) like it gives me such a horrible feeling that I cant really describe, like let me tell you something, when I got the notification earlier today I saw the title as I went to swipe away the notification (dont ask why I bother swiping them away, idk) I was like "oh no not him too:(((" and then when I was about to swipe ot away I saw the thumbnail and since I was currently talking with friends I was a bit more vocal with my reaction and I literally audibly said *"OH MY GOD!"* like I'm not even kidding, and now many hours later I go into my subscribed tab to see this video to see it full screen and when I get to your video and see the thumbnail I just get a weirdly intense horrible feeling, like ive literally never felt that way besides when I am personally playing a horror game that isnt some crappy roblox "horror" game (very rare occurrence) like its insane and I feel cringe for feeling this intensely about it lol, but idk maybe the word is dread, or maybe the picture made me feel uneasy, the only thing I've got an idea of is the fact that its probably not nice to see some of your favorite characters in any media ever, be brutalized, I just dont like it(that means I do like it) i mean I just got over moons and now you have to upload this and not only remind me of the moon one but now you gotta fuck with winter too lol

I just cant imagine anything else (but I guess I dont want to lol) and *better yet* what of qibli? One of my favorites if not *my favorite* character(s), what are you going to do to him? Accepting darkstalkers proposal would be too tame and the same probably goes for him being in that whatever-the-hell that his mom was in, so maybe crushed under the boulder thrown at them during the icewing nightwing battle? But I feel like even that wouldnt *sate your bloodlust* (not sure if "sate" is how you spell it but you get the idea) so what else? Maybe he gets the Arctic treatment but that could go for anyone, maybe darkstalker generally brutalizes him, maybe something behind secret door number 6 that we could never guess!? In my opinion, this is a bad ending, since they did not stop the Evil, in this case the Queen and her sisters, but at the same time their life got better.
