The hardest part of this video wasn't the downpipes, it was Alex not saying "at the end of the day" let's be honest.
ive done a ton of these on q60 and q50 for 5 years now. tips and tricks- remove all transmission mount bracket bolts and lower the rear of the transmission to tilt the engine back, also the engine craddle subframe remove the bolts all that way until the last 2-3 threads and that will drop the engine 3-4 inches lets you manuever your hands better around all those hard to reach bolts. only a few times i needed to drop the entire subframe to remove those hard to reach bolts not that difficult to remove the subframe but you need to tie the engine up with a beam above the engine while the subframe is removed. adds about 2 hours or so to the job but saves your hands from hell its more required on the awd cars than the rwd drives
On q50 3.0ts full downpipes overspools stock turbos and seals go bye bye and tune is mandatory just a heads up

I got that motor in my Q60. Definitely sounds better with both cats removed and full exhaust. I’ve been looking to do something similar, but only the lower down pipes and Ark grip exhaust. I definitely want to see your power gains after the intake and tune.

I traded in my 2021 A91 Supra which had the full Fi Exhaust, Catless Downpipes, Valvetronic kit and Eventuri Carbon Intake for the new 2024 NISMO. Now what I want to know is, where do I order the setup from for Z? In the past I ordered from A90Shop for the Supra.

I always soak the heat wrap in water so fiberglass Particles don’t get everywhere
You do it on a lift, makes your life a lot easier

hi guys, my advice would be, drop a jz in that bitch, yes it will be a pain at first but in the end ul have a car that makes the rite noises and ease of maintenance, v6 can be pain, straight six not so much as u have space around it to work
