- The Jitsi video conferencing architecture employs a number of techniques to keep bandwidth and server usage to a minimum while maintaining excellent video quality. George Politis of the Jitsi team gave a talk at this year's IIT-RTC Conference about how they minimize costs without sacrificing call quality with demonstrations from meet.jit.si, the free service they host. Learn about SFU's, simulcast, adaptivity selecting between peer-to-peer and a media server (P2P4121), and how Jitsi intelligently suspends streams.
