@@mamache2028 Time Machine backup! You need to do a Time Machine backup PRIOR to installing the beta update. THEN, after you have it backed up, do the update. I would recommend disconnecting the backup drive after it's done backing up so that you don't overwrite (via Time Machine) the previous backup while you're using the beta. Then when you're ready to revert back, plug the drive back in and revert back.
Hello and thank you for your tutorials. I'm new to the Mac world and I have a question. My operating system is Sonoma 14.7. Sequoia is a new system that I suppose will be in testing until it is stable. I'm in the audio business, so I have a number of drivers and programs installed to run all the peripheral interfaces and other hardware. At the moment, my Mac is running very, very with Sonoma 14. What happens if I wait and don't upgrade to Sequoia in a few months? Does this mean that I could miss out on the upgrade? Thank you very much and best regards from Hamburg, Germany. Rafael.
idk what public beta is, but I think it’s all the bug fixes, and stuff (so it’s like the completed OS), I think you can only install it on September 16, idk for sure tho
@@gambitplayzrblx oh cause it’s not in my update on my phone so I was a bit confused but apparently you need to like register something for it to appear it seems. I’ll just wait
Following these steps didn't work. They are forcing the $99 fee. I have no idea how to get around this. I'm not paying $99. -- UPDATE: After quitting the checkout page because there was no other option to move forward, I went back and clicked the i with the circle next to beta in the Settings/General/Software Update page and it showed macOS Sequoia Developer Beta, so I clicked it - and now it shows an update for my system for macOS 15 Beta which is 6.44 gigs. Thanks!
Remember to Follow the FULL Guide and you DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE the App Creations Developers Account Option!
Yeah 👍
Please give MacBook to me for studying and side by side for some working purposes to support my family please❤❤❤
how to undo the software upadate back to sonoma if ever you don't like the upadate?
