Gussy, after being a trout fly fisherman my whole I am now learning the smallmouth game. I like this video, but have questions about the soft plastic bait on the hook. Fishing it on a Ned rig makes me think you want the bait to not be salted so it might stand up better when the rig is on the bottom. What company makes craw imitations that are small enough for a Ned rig and would not be salted? Do you trim back the front end of the soft bait?

How do most connect the fluorocarbon to the power pro? Knot, or a small swivel?
I always use a double Uni knot, it’s easy to tie, I use it for pike and Muskie, never had it break. Lots of videos how on the net.
