Just wanted to point this out because I didn't hear you mention this, but you need to clear rank 7 with a score of 12,000 or higher(s rank) to get the obsidian weapon titles completed, and you'd be surprised how easy this is to fail if your not 50+ potency and/or optimized
For those that want the obsidia weapons title reward i happen to estimate that the bosses needed to die before 10 minutes; my first run took me more and needed just a few point for the 12 000 score (10:33 with 11 970)
Received one of each new armor in my first five runs So far I have seen 4 Obsidia drop. The cubes were unexpected and wow, now up to 18 on all add-ons and multi kaizar.

well i thought it was obvious tbh at the start i ran up the ramps and found the doors like immediately and the the colours at the front are stacked so i thought "ok, every colour connects to a floor with a boss" so pretty obvious to me from the start the thing where you run back was new for me tho^^ problem is in general that most random players just run through stuff. no exploring, no communication, nothing. And most of the time, if 1 person runs ahead, the rest follows thats sadly typical for ngs unless u do stuff alone or with your friends, ppl just rush through
Me and my party ran around the tower all over confused because we could hear the boss but couldn't find it. Somehow accidentally just found it eventually but it felt like I just randomly ran around. The server crashed as I was collecting the bounty from the mission. It counts as I finished it and everything was in the temp quest storage, but I didn't see any Obsidia weapon.

Asking this for my team as we're gonna run through the tower level 7 very soon, and I want to make sure we get all the info we need about the obsidia weapons and if there's also a better farm for them besides this
As much as I would love to tackle towers and yellow/purple zones, I've been soloing the game since it's console release day. I'm even sick with Codek weapons right now.
Tower is easy to solo, even S rank. Idk if codek will get you S, but you can buy these new obsidia for a few hundred K and easily S rank with them. Not as hard as purple triggers. Will probably need decent augments though.
For anyone who wants to do this with a 4 person team and not do the secret bosses, the Alliance I run with pretty much had a plan to separate the bosses, 1 person takes the first boss, 1 takes the middle, and 2 take the top, and whoever finishes climbs up to assist for the S rank. Or if you wanna do one of the secret bosses, just 2 people each and then all 4 can meet up for whichever secret boss you wanna run
Yeah, not my luck, everytime someone wants to solo a boss they either die, take too long and we get A or B rank! Every time! Only time I get S is when everyone works together to kill a boss and go in order. Not saying it is not possible your way, just more ways to get lower rank.
It's still kinda easier than Geometric labyrinth still. Though at least there are Vardias as a secret boss which I like as you can finally repeatedly farm a Mining Base Exclusive boss consistently here.

Those are RNG drop for rank 7. Also neither him or the wiki he showed mentioned the secret bosses being necessary to drop them, so you probably just need to farm the normal bosses.

Sorry this question might have already been asked but how do you get the white color wings? I did not know this was a thing but absolutely love it and if there is a way to get it I would like to give it a try.
As of now, the only way of obtaining original white variant is through the player shop. I believe only the glide, since the dash one was locked behind a scratch count and can't be sold. Could be wrong, don't remember exactly.

What are your augments on weapon and units? Your potency and floor potency? No matter which weapon you use, if you aren't paying attention to those things, you probably won't see a huge difference between weapons. Between Kaizaar and Obsidia the difference is marginal, but between a 6* and Obsidia, you should be able to tell the difference. This sounds like an augment problem.
Limit break your gear, you're probably sitting with +50 gear, if you have 6 star gear upgrade it to +60 and slap in either might/precision or tech 3 to your gear at +50 then finish the gear to +60, i cleared all 7 levels with codek and regular sesato armor that was still augmented from the previous seasonal gear, also make sure you're at max level of 65.
Limit break your gear (weapons and armor) to level 50. Any augments that you put on your gear needs to be on at least level III. Max out your potential and lastly, level up to 65. That should get ya to at least 2890 if not higher.
I was in the same boat -- only had 6-star gear sitting around 2750 BP starting out and couldn't enter rank 7 due to insufficient BP. I didn't have enough spare enhancement fodder units & high tier augs sitting around to upgrade my 6's and THEN do it again on fresh new 7's, so I took a roundabout way. First, I fully enhanced & augmented two of the Efitus unit rewards from earlier ranks that gave inherent proficiency boosts to my class. Then -- and perhaps foolishly -- I went to the player market and bought an obsidia weapon. Even though I was going to receive one from completing rank 7, the purchase was already cheap enough that I wasn't angry about it. After enhancing, slapping in some middling augs, and adding potential to the weapon, I was beyond the 2898 BP requirement. I'll be the first to admit maybe it was silly to buy a weapon I would get for free just a few minutes later, but I really didn't mind in the end. It was a super quick fix, and I didn't have to spend a bunch of time & mats/cash fiddling with improving 6-star gear that was only going to get tossed in a stash as soon as rank 7 was done. I saved some resources, and now I've got a spare weapon for later. And who knows? Maybe I'll want to test out different augs, scrap it in a multi-weapon, have a back up if I want to level a new character, or maybe down the line it'll get used as a crafting component like Rokz was for Kaisar. Options for the future are good, IMO.
I got the required bp by having pretty much all 40 skill points used on each of the two classes you enter with. My weapon was codeck+60 (only 1st potential unlocked) and a sestato+60 and 2 vios+50 for armor. All with max number of augments. Hope this gives you an idea of what's needed. Upgrade weapon first.
Man I remember playing video games and you would only be able to play the game and be super hype when you find things like this. Now once one person does it everyone knows about it immediately. And I feel it’s because everyone feels like they need every single item or it “isn’t fair” and obviously content creators want content for views, I just feel like the experience is so watered down anymore. I mean imagine finding this on your own. Or learning about it through gossip in area chat, that would be so cool
Yeah I don’t care about this content man I will skip it like i have the other content in NGS that I skipped they need to start adding some content for the 90% players in NGS and for the ones that are still waiting for content to bring them back which right now there’s no main game content for the 90% of the players so hopefully this changes soon because this game is boring with out good content for us normal players in NGS to play we need more than just doing are daily’s and weekly’s and are mission pass’s and event’s when they have them we need some in game content for us to play in NGS the hardcores have a lot stuff they can do now which is great for them but that doesn’t help us normal players who don’t care about that stuff hopefully the NGS team start adding some in game content for us normal players hopefully start in next year it would be nice to have some normal content soon but it takes time to make content so well see what happens down the road for this game i keep hoping kerr that we can see this soon man
The setup isn’t bad, but I was expecting more bosses, and a challenge on the level of geometric labs. Hopefully they add modifiers to this to make it more of a challenge.

For the obsidia weapons, you have to at least earn 12k pts or an S rank in order to obtain them.
Yup, 12k points is needed. Also they won't be in your loot from the mission, they are Title rewards so they go directly to your inventory.

I imagine the main perk is the souls. I’m guessing you can only get the souls for the bosses you actually fight.

Is it purely RNG or is it a guarantee once you complete the tower that you get the Obsidia weapons?
You need to get like 12k points or something for title and itll go straight to your inventory

Is kaizar still worth getting if you already got obsidia ? I have enough materials to finally craft it. If not I might just craft it for my alt char
yes certain wep types benefit more from the pp reduction of kaisar vs obsidia stats
This obsidia fully upgraded and lv4 potential with 136 more damage than my evolorbit still doing almost the same damage... That was disappointing...
7 star weapons need more potency floor than potency for high damage , 6 star and below need more potency

@@ganymede4030 no no, rn the 3* weapons maxed out with max augs actually out dps Kaizer weapons rn cause of the lvl 60. So makes sense.
