The reasons for this is that, Königsegg itself almost to completely and literally revived the McLaren F.1 from the 1990s in England back into life by making it become a Swede car and made it way better as well in later cars such as the One:1 and the Jesko without having to care about itself having an engine with turbos that aren't usually in the McLaren, and the cars of Königsegg are actually beautiful just like the F.1 itself as things should be, especially when Königsegg is a literal tech manufacturer that absolutely focuses on innovation, performance, technology, efficiency and precision for their vehicles including the CCX and CCXR anyway. If only there was a reply option and a camera view from the viewpoint of the traffic. Could you imagine seeing an Agera blasting past you at 400 km/h? Especially considering the amazing sense of speed in this game. I would also go as far to say there has been no other game since Rivals that has come close to replicating the pure adrenaline hit you receive from playing this game. If only they made a new one...
I have a feeling that they were planning to implement gas station repairs in this Hot Persuit but later decided to put it in Rivals instead. I love both Hot Persuit and Rivals, but Hot Persuit is PURE adrenaline whereas Rivals is more damage and weapon systems focused, and a bit slower than Hot Persuit.
Calm Before the Storm - most atmospheric event in NFS history, ever. The thunder roaring with intense action was the cherry on the top. Can't wait to relive it in the remaster coming next month.
