Can you do a video trying out the various supermarket doughs? I’ve noticed Morrisons sell pizza dough pucks and there’s another brand floating around too. Would love to know which is best!
@@TomVoyageuk 😅👍 I bought the ooni grill plate recently, and I am really satisfied. There are cheaper ones, but I couldn't find one with these nice handles. And they have replaced the wood plate with a metal plate. Apparently many people had problems with it. The plate can shatter, when you put the hot grill plate on it.
Well, the metal table the oven is on is from Ooni, you can find it via my links in the description, the wooden one is from a company called zest, again I’ve linked it in the video description! Both tables are really good and I use them a lot!
Yes! I can confirm it’s the Ooni apron! I like it because it fits nice and is long, and has lots of pockets for stuff, but the neck strap does get a bit uncomfy after a while
Like using the claw of a hammer to tighten screws! I’ll stick with a tool designed for the job… a flat top griddle. I could see using the Ooni as a broiler but I don’t think it works well as a general purpose griddle or oven because all the heat comes from the top down except what gets transferred to the pan or stone *before* you put the food in to cook. Our one attempt at a cookie/brownie in a cast iron skillet was a fail, because even if you heat the pan up in advance, there’s no persistent heat from the bottom except the residual heat. The top cooks but not the underside. Some tools just aren’t meant to do multiple jobs. We do love our Ooni Karu for pizza!
Thanks for the comment, but these do turn out really well. Not everyone has the space or money to have multiple separate grills etc, so I like to make these videos to show how versatile an Ooni can be!
Why??? That’s not a homemade burger…just buy some mince and add salt… Not sure what the point of that video was but here I am watching it as an Ooni 12g owner. I’ll get that pan for sure but will raise the game on those pitiful burgers.

Great idea! My wife actually suggested a similar video so that would be good, I’ll add it to the list!
if you're in the states Trader Joes has a great pizza dough in the store for $1.69 per dough ball.
Buttering the burger buns is so British 😂. Great video!
Haha! You got me! Although this is to help give a nice crispy texture once you have toasted the buns
The plate is great, no debate.
Kind of sounds like a Dr.Seuss Rhyme!

One day maybe I’ll get to work with blackstone 🙏 but for now the Ooni grizzler pan works great
What apron is that Tom?
Looks like it has an ooni logo on the grey bit! ££!
@@simonw60 just looked and it’s free with two Ooni accessories on the Ooni site👌🏻
