Most DMC champions haven't been using original records since the '90s; they had to have their own battle records custom-made. Serato and the like are just doing the same thing, but without having to spend a ton of money having a record made specially for one battle.
It does make sense. I'm just kind of surprised. These guys are sponsored anyway so they naturally have to use the latest gear from whoever is sponsoring them.

yep, just looks like a freestyle practice. isp was never the same when disk and flare got chucked out.
I actually think it looks less like a freestyle practice than most of the things they've put out. There's a lot more musical structure to these pieces as there is going to be a full album as opposed to a 15 minutes single track like klamz was. I love klamz as much as the next person but I think it's cool to listen to a more mature sounding piklz.
