These seeds are germinating extremely quickly - consistent 4 day germination of all 8 seeds. That's far faster than in my proper heated propagator... and seeds on the windowsill usually take 2 weeks. So far, I'm impressed.
On the other hand, think about it, it might be better to place them upside down, poking a seed hole in this like this, for it would then better allow the roots to reach the water / nutrients from the other end, which is wide open. Sometimes roots have a hard time breaking through these net type Jiffy pots.
Hi vince . Found it very interesting as never seen it in use be for. I'm old school when growing from seed with a none heated propagator against a radiator and get good results. I try and replicate the humidity and warmth of the tropics . I use the jiffy pellets as well but drowned in strong tea. The next thing I'm going to do is see how much one of these units are. Look forward to the next video.
Am I the only one that laughed and waved back when he waved to us in the reflection of the dome? "oh, look, it's my reflection...if I'm in this, I might as well wave." lol Thanks for the video!
Well, I'm convinced. Going to see how much they cost and may order a couple. Your video was concise and very instructive. Will also look for the follow-up. Thanks!
I have an ultrasonic fogger laying around somewhere, i`ll have to do a side by side with a glass of hard tapwater and see which shows roots first. I run 3 different kinds of aero, low pressure, high pressure and air atomising, so i`m no stranger to how aero works.
Hi Vince i have been thinking about a possible purchase as im mainly going to be using seeds, and this video has be a great help thanks for making it clear and understandable looking forward to your update .
thumbs up my friend. would be interested to know your final outcome. like size and quality of items grown. thanks very much for takeing the time to do video and will be looking for any follow ups. the best fella
Thank you for sharing the experience with us and please attach clarify more about the type and strength and the way they work and , of course, the image of the pump
You have done a very very good job Bro.. I loved it more because this was without music in the back-ground , the whole thing is good ..Cheers M8. You are a good bloke, why everybody don't want to be like you...
Much interested on the seed planting. Please, where and how to buy it, do they send abroad like Egypt, the whole set, to try using it, kindly I want to see your updates. Thank you, nice video.
Hey, so how did the rooting go? I can't see a follow up video of the results. Did you use any rooting gel/powder? Looks a great product, I look forward to your reply. Cheers... Ian J.
I really enjoyed your vid on aeroponics . It was thoughtful and very easy to follow. Can you show us an up date on how the cuttings and seeds survived? Did they prosper? and did you have problems transfering them to soilbased pots when they were big enough or did they continue in that protectve evirenment right up to fruiting stage?. The pots seem ideal for germination and cutting but too small for mature plants. Except perhaps for rare, difficult specimens. Please keep the vids coming. I would really like to know more of their progress,
just wondering , but would like to know if mushrooms would do good in this , i would think so as what mushrooms need to grow and no light needed , sure there is some more be for you grow mushrooms , but looks good .
Hello Vince I have had some good results with inexpensive Ex cut flower water buckets planting and growing potatoes, carrots, leeks and beans etc in them. I grow these outdoors on my Patio. Is a Aero-Pot Aeroponics System suitable for using outdoors? I was thinking that rain could be an issue.
I have ??? as ViceVersa... If you had a lid with one Mesh pot a 6" can u use it to take the plant to Full Bloom and Fruit.??? Thanks BTW good explanation of the product Thanks
Yes you can any plant start to finish, and I do mean any plant BUT these burn out quickly well quicker when nutrients are in the water u see its silver it will turn the color of a penny n waste will appear just exchange water every week or have I call it a fogger..I will say this man I did this in a 30 gal tote one fogger same size but I never tried propagation with it..
Nice and concise video. I'm new to all this stuff so it's nice to find out about products through something other than ads that are very obviously trying to sell me something.
Instead of paying through the nose for this system ($155) You could just an ultrasonic mister for $10, a few netpots, some clay growing media, and some hydropinic nutrients and still have enough money left over to buy an indoor grow light so you can have a complete setup for the same price if not less. All you need to be ready for is a little DIY. It's more rewarding if you make it yourself anyway.
But, in addition, this mister system also overflows into the upper grow chamber, which keeps the leaves humid and happy, as well; the more humidity, the better, I would think.
@@superresistant0 I and many others base our opinions on our own side by side testing. If i could get the same results with ultrasonic foggers why would i not be using them?
Hi there, awesome video and what a great idea to turn a small fog machine into an aeroponics system. My question is can this sustain fully growing plants? Or is just just for propagation and seed germination?
With one pump did you alternate buckets? Also, why not make holes in the sides of one bucket and either use rockwool or paper towels instead of those pellets; your result would be like 30 plants in one bucket - in theory anyway. Thanks for the show. ciao.
This is a noob question but if you have this kit outside won't the heat turn the water inside the bucket too hot for it to be drinkable for the plants?
well, the product you sponsored seems good, but the link to the ebay store does not seem to work, is there an updated one? I have tried a few searches without any luck
Within 4 days on the tomatoes... I'm doing an update video at some point with dates etc. I'm staggered by the results, I'll never take cuttings any other way again, ever.
WONDERFUL BROTHER, REALLY NICE, how do you call to the mist maker part, I would like to purchase only that and for a much bigger capacity, but I dont know nothing about that device, not even its name.
+trumpsahead One of these: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ELLGDC It's simply a power meter that curious people can use to compare power consumption between devices. Also, you can check how much your TV are using while on stand-by etc. In short, really useful little device that is not even expensive.
Hello, the nutrients that have to be dissolved in the water are the same as for hydroponics ?, the same amount ?. Thank you. (I translate by google Spanish / English)
Hi, I found your video while researching aeroponic systems. I’m curious; do you think if you wanted to grow a single, larger plant and you needed to take the dome off, would it affect the misting gizmo, ie, would the plant still get nutrients?
Wow this video was 7 years ago. It only popped up today on my feed. To bad the link no longer works. Thanks for featuring the item 😊

Did you add nutrient solution to the water 🤔🤷♂️. If yes how did it affect the mister?🤷♂️
You should consider turning the jiffy pellets around you'll see there is a small hole an the other side instead of poking a hole through the bottom

Nice job...
Love the new vaporizing technology!
Aeroponics is only really recommended for starting seedlings and rooting cuttings, for which I think its superior to a pressure mist.
Wonderful demonstration! I look forward to more from you.
Thank you for sharing the experience with us and please attach clarify more about the type and strength and the way they work and , of course, the image of the pump
Looks an awesome product, wish to see how they get handled in their final pots.
This looks interesting! The pellets have an upside down, and there is already a hole for the seed.
Did you ever post the follow-up video for how the cuttings turned out?
great video! aero-pot seems likes an easy, no fuss set up.
Great video. I have not seen any fertilizers? And the plants can't grow bigger than the dome lid....
love the nice high dome but the rest I already have, going to check out the link to check if I can just buy parts.
ps. dang shop is no longer active

Thanks - too kind of you to say, I'm just a joe blow with a camera, but very happy to hear you think it turned out ok :-)
Awesome review Vince. I also use one of these systems with fantastic results.
Yup - about 26-28 degrees C - perfect growing temp!
Farenheight please (USA), any nutrients added ? What do you use if nutrients in water ? Will nutrients corrode the pump ?
What is the round brown color ?
Much interested on the seed planting.
Please, where and how to buy it, do they send abroad like Egypt, the whole set, to try using it, kindly I want to see your updates. Thank you, nice video.
This would be great for dry heat indpprs....jerosene heat or woodburning...the mister would be helpful for plants!
Thanks for sharing!
this is more explained and easy to do, just to have the proper pot and mister to use. thanks.
and the follow up video showing the growth results?
After 11 years I this video pops upon my feed. Wohoo
hi there the device is pump and heater yes look like water steam , lovely , where you can get this thanks
Big thumbs up on the video. You make it so easy to understand & folow along.

Nice , I'm interested but couldn't find one on ebay
seller on ebay called '' aero-pot '' is selling an kit like that.
Nice and concise video. I'm new to all this stuff so it's nice to find out about products through something other than ads that are very obviously trying to sell me something.
Buongiorno e Buon anno. Domanda: il nebulizzatore, va'tenuto sempre acceso, o in che tempo alternarlo?
Grazie
Good video. Love that atomizer - I will definitely get one very soon.
Nice simple bucket system, thanks for posting, it was helpful.
What about root feed can you add to water?👍

The fact is, its the water spitting upwards that keeps the cuttings wet, not the fog.;) An airpump + airstone will do exactly the same job.
But, in addition, this mister system also overflows into the upper grow chamber, which keeps the leaves humid and happy, as well; the more humidity, the better, I would think.

What a great little system for seedlings and cuttings. Thanks for sharing :)
looks good! ill be staying tune for updates!
wheres the follow up video ? i want to see the difference between now and later !
Indeed, where is the update?
Peace, how are you, brother. How much moisture is inside a pot for a plant to grow. Thank you
Will using a clear bucket hurt the root development at all? or is it ok to use clear?
how will the fertilizer get to the seedlings...and will it get to hot for the roots
its not hot,its mist not steam
yes your right ...i was drunk at the time

Only if it includes a dwc or some other hydroponic addition to supply the bulk of the water/nutrient requirements.
Cool little thing
Excited to see the updated video. How soon ? I believe ive got to have one of these. Do you keep it indoors or out ?
I noticed it says Heated on the side of the bucket, is it a warm environment.
does it use a lot of water? The mist seems go up above the bucket into the air quite a lot. Thanks!

How about temperature of fog? Sometimes it increases to 45 degrees (celsius). That is very harmful for many types of plants.
They ship worldwide :)
I have used those foggers before...did the water heat up?
This is a noob question but if you have this kit outside won't the heat turn the water inside the bucket too hot for it to be drinkable for the plants?
I think coconut coir works much better than the rocks. All you need now is the best fertilizer made. That would be Masterblend.
Flora brands Fertilizers are also great.
hi Vince can i plant my seeds in rockwool and use the aero pot?
well, the product you sponsored seems good, but the link to the ebay store does not seem to work, is there an updated one? I have tried a few searches without any luck
General hydroponics nutrients seem to work great!
Does it oxygenate the water as good as a stone?
Do you add any liquid nutrients to the water or is it just plain tap water?
Yeah the fogger warms the water to about 26-30 Celsius.
How long does it take before the fogger clogs up and then needs cleaning?
Hi good vid ...
Do you run the mister on 24hrs every day or turn off for few hrs a day???
Within 4 days on the tomatoes... I'm doing an update video at some point with dates etc. I'm staggered by the results, I'll never take cuttings any other way again, ever.
Do you supply a square 4pot version of this? Eg. 600x 300wd 🤔
That was a nice ponic system how do you purchase one?
ok so did the plants succeed? does the transparent container got filled with algae? what method was better?
WONDERFUL BROTHER, REALLY NICE, how do you call to the mist maker part, I would like to purchase only that and for a much bigger capacity, but I dont know nothing about that device, not even its name.
bloody excellent mate
Great idea have been looking for something along those lines
What is the black one inside?
It seems to work good. Would you tell me its name?
You plugged the Atomizer/mister into what? What was that thing? ... a timer/plug adapter?

Hello, the nutrients that have to be dissolved in the water are the same as for hydroponics ?, the same amount ?. Thank you. (I translate by google Spanish / English)
are there any sort of nutrient additives for these?
Is the misting electric tool an ultrasound transducer?
Hi, I found your video while researching aeroponic systems. I’m curious; do you think if you wanted to grow a single, larger plant and you needed to take the dome off, would it affect the misting gizmo, ie, would the plant still get nutrients?
Do you only use water without mixing anything? How the plant get nutrients?
For starting stage, pure water is enough
is the water, just plain water? or do you add fertiliser to it?
what is your clear plastic code on the bottom. if u can tell me.im used to black pots.i want to see root growth.thx
Can you grow a whole vegetable plant with this system?
I loved this, very good and informative.
Well done!
Yes I just ordered a hydroponics system for my health organic natural plants but I'm scared how to put them in because there 6-7 inches onto seeds
And the nutrients get misted as well?
Go onto ebay and search for "Aero-Pot" :-) The company is "Happy Hydroponics" - highly recommended.
can you buy the mister alone?
Any roots on the cuttings? its been nearly a month.
Just noticed this supplier is from the UK, will they ship internationally? couldn't find an email of theirs, so I'd ask you.
How did it work for rooting the cuttings?
How many times do I run the steam and how many minutes each time
What did u do for light? Did u use heated one
Do u add nutrients in the water?
I clicked on the link you shared to order the pot. It says the page does exist. Where can I order one of these?Thank you
What is the unit at the bottom(under water) that's creating the heavy thick mist? What's it called? Thanks
that's a nice demonstration i loved it thaks a lot
