Aesthetic Perfection - Inhuman Produced by Golo Media Directed by Max Nadolny Camera and Editing by Garth von Glehn Model: Alexandra Brechlin Shot on location in Berlin, Germany 10.05.11
The great thing about discovering a band like this 9 years later is that there are so many awesome tracks to go and find. I don't have to sit and wait for new stuff since is there are so many great songs already out. Looking forward to finding them all !!!!
Oh man, coming back to your music after years away from it, I remember why I thought of you as the Chester Bennington of this genre. I remember stumbling across A Nice Place To Visit when I was in highschool.
I discovered you when I was 15, I'm almost 33 now, and your music has never left me)) I will always cherish the memories of your performances.. Thank you so much!! Miss U/Russia(((( 💝💋
Daniel! You are a fucccccccckkkkkkkkkkking GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never stop! I can't sleep at night thinking about the album you are going to release! Much love !
So many lonely bros on here, my advise to you is work on you and let the rest come naturally, thats what i did and i got me that catch going on 15 years ago. AND she loves this music so when you work on you both physically and mentally people will gravitate to you (if you are putting yourself out there) then its just not setting yourself up for failure or inadvertently messing it up yourself, and as long as you have chosen wisely she will reciprocate everything you give my dudes.
Well I for one like both your new work and your old work. Each have their merits. People change, their tastes change, their artistic works change. A true artists stay true to himself, and I think you've proven that.
Guys things are really simple. Anyone having racist and/or counter-racist tendencies always seeks and finds things for racist controversy. The music is brilliant as well with the video! Many thanx for providing us with MUSIC. Thank god that does not recognize our world but its a big part of it!!!!
@strigiformable I've already responded to you enough. I've responded to your allegations that my video is racially insensitive, but you chose not to listen. You also chose not to listen to my assertion that your hyper sensitivity does the world harm. I agree that racism is a problem, it's just not in the places you think you've found it. Now, I really must be off, I have some minorities and women to oppress.
Good for you. People have so little to think about they're offended by a music video. Race is not hinted at anywhere, its a beautiful piece of art, just ignore them.
I like your music. All of it. So I think people should just shut up. They don't have to give negative comments. If they like your older stuff then they can listen to that. They don't have to listen to your other good songs just to leave a bash comment.
I bet if the girl was in a cage, nobody would say it's racist, because you know, she's white! The colors represent how different they are as human beings, nothing else. Awesome song, AP always delivers :D
Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your artistic variety in your videos and that you hold your ground in front of those that would seek to devalue it.
My friend just introduced me to your music, and I am sincerely blown away! Your videos are stunning! Particularly the ones with a black and white theme. But then, that's what I like to shoot, so I may be bias lol. My friend got me jamming out to you while I work, but it wasn't until last week that he brought up your videos. I stumbled across this one a few days ago, and my heart was thudding against my ribs in time with the beat! Gorgeous!
I looove the way that you transition from aggrotechy vocals to clear crisp vocals! ( although in this song I think the aggro- vocals are like... too faded into the background? Like, I know it's there but it's hard for me to actually listen to it because it sounds a bit muffled for some reason)
Coming back to this video after a few years only to see the "controversy" in the comments. I'm blown away by the rampant stupidity of people, especially when they can fling barbs from behind screens. How long ago that seeing black/white in a sense of duality invoked imagery of yin/yang, instead of race? Because I never saw race anywhere in this video. Just symbolism of feeling like the place you wanted to be was somewhere so different you could never get there. I mean hell, even if we say black=negative and the girl in white=positive, her own demeanor in the video is wild, vicious even. To me, that shows that even our concept of "good" is on something of a pedestal, and that we're all capable of being monsters no matter how others perceive us to be. BUT OF COURSE, this is merely my interpretation of the art I have witnessed. Art is a mirror, so often: What you see in it is skewed by your own view of the world and how you process it. I am a troubled man who feels outside of society, and thus I see that struggle in this video. If you're seeing racist propaganda everywhere you look, well...
Saw them live a few months back, it's really great live. With live keys + live drums it's a whole other feeling live. If you get the chance, go to an AP concert! :)
Aesthetic Perfection kicks ass live. first I was sceptic, afraid it would sound dull but I couldn't be any more wrong... Daniel's voice is out of this world, Tim hits the drums so hard I almost feel sorry for them, and it's just way more brutal than on the albums. Go see them!
I love all the vocal styles that he has used throughout his albums, but i wish he would mix it up in each album, because I like this occaisionally, but if this whole album is like this, I don't know if Id be feeling it the whole time. I love Close To Human vocals and A Violent Emotion's were my favorite. this content was amazing. I love this concept of humanity/inhumanity he keeps exploring. I love the synths still, not every song has to blow you away with their use and he recognized that.
His name is Daniel Graves. Remember that shit, it is forgeting the name of one of Industrial music's most talented artists (AND A FUCKING LYRICAL GOD!)
Personally I've liked the change in style over the course of your albums. I'd rather see an artist grow and progress then pump out the same tired stuff for 20 years. Keep doing your thing, fuck the haters.
Usually I don't think that commenting on youtube videos is worth doing, but I have to say that I completely agree with Daniel. Every artwork is made with a certain intent, and every artwork is open to interpretation. If your interpretation does not match up with the artist's intent, or with most other people's interpretations, that is very much your own problem.
Well hell, have a new band/artist to add to my favorites. Wasn't sure I felt about this song at first, and just keep coming back to it over and over, quite a few other amazing songs as well ^_^
I always love your attitude to those comments, your just like "I don't fucking care if you don't like it, its my music, not yours." and I just find that great.
More artists need that outlook. Too many are focused on pleasing the masses to make money. A true artist makes art for himself, and if people dig it, then cool, if not, then cool. I just hope DG keeps making shit for himself.
The great thing about discovering a band like this 9 years later is that there are so many awesome tracks to go and find. I don't have to sit and wait for new stuff since is there are so many great songs already out. Looking forward to finding them all !!!!
Just about every time I discover a band on You Tube, I find that I am 5 to 10 years late.
Wish I could hear Aesthetic Perfection again for the first time!
Proud to say that Aesthetic Perfection was the band that made me like Industrial/EBM.
Thank band's like Lords of Acid, My life with the Thrill Kill. Cult then. Decades before we could make beats.
Oh man, coming back to your music after years away from it, I remember why I thought of you as the Chester Bennington of this genre. I remember stumbling across A Nice Place To Visit when I was in highschool.
It's at the abandoned Heilstätte on Grabow Lake just outside Berlin.
still listening to this day 🎶
And I'm grateful for it!
yup, still a regular on my playlist.
I discovered you when I was 15, I'm almost 33 now, and your music has never left me)) I will always cherish the memories of your performances.. Thank you so much!!
Miss U/Russia((((
💝💋
DARKWAVE + SYNTH POP + DANCE + TECHNO= AESTHETIC PERFECTION :-)
And non a drop of the cyberpunk shit everyone including him have turned Into. I miss this era
Fun Fact: The video's concept has nothing to do with race.
hmmm......that is what came to mind when I saw this. but not in a bad way. light & dark/good with evil?
Close to Human Music of course not, just the difference of people´s life- meanings and thoughts
Close to Human Music I met a chick whos name is Sheena, she's from LA. Know her?
Nick Nasheim One hint, She's Persian haha.
Nick Nasheim I do know her!
"Have faith, that I can change for you..." :'(
Most of what this man touches turns to pure awesomeness.
Daniel! You are a fucccccccckkkkkkkkkkking GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never stop! I can't sleep at night thinking about the album you are going to release! Much love !

Just keep coming back to this one, still madly in love with it.
I discovered Aesthetic Perfection with this song. Still love it.
I love the fact Daniel evolves with his music and vocals so much.....
Well I for one like both your new work and your old work. Each have their merits. People change, their tastes change, their artistic works change. A true artists stay true to himself, and I think you've proven that.
Brilliant song - Brilliant Band. Gutted I missed them in Newcastle end of 2011. Hoping they come back soon!
Don't normally like this kind of music but these guys rock it.
I still have such fond memories of seeing this live.
Damm fantastic love this group many thanks for sharing.

I like this reply even though it looks as if strigiformable deleted//expunged his post.
Good for you. People have so little to think about they're offended by a music video. Race is not hinted at anywhere, its a beautiful piece of art, just ignore them.
One of the best beats I've heard in a long time, and I listen to this genre 5 hours a day or longer.
The way you can go from the harsh scream to the clean vocals is so amazing keep it up!
photographicly the best video I´ve seen so far.
One million views by the end of 2022... HERE WE GO! :)
They are the best in EBM/electro/industrial, energy with melody it's a key for success. Greetz from Poland.
This is the song that started my love for the most amazing band ever!
I've seen these guys three times live, they always give it their best and a great performance.
I like your music. All of it. So I think people should just shut up. They don't have to give negative comments. If they like your older stuff then they can listen to that. They don't have to listen to your other good songs just to leave a bash comment.
I see no racism here. I see art depicted in a song and then transferred into a video. I like it and I think some people are a bit silly. Hugs for all.
Regardless of what anyone else says, i loved it. I haven't come across an Aesthetic Perfection song i didn't like.
Крутая музыка а клипы вообще охренеть всем на зависть)))))))!!!!!!
Can never turn up the volume high enough when listening to it! Truly a masterpiece, has been my favourite song for years already.
Hello recent comment ! Happy to see you here !
I love it!! I bought this as soon as it was released!! all the remixes were the best!!
I bet if the girl was in a cage, nobody would say it's racist, because you know, she's white! The colors represent how different they are as human beings, nothing else. Awesome song, AP always delivers :D

This song IS SO SICK, makes me happy, keep on rocking out!!!!

Wow, I've had this song stuck in my head for days and it's going to be stuck there for a while further. Great Video!
perfect fusion of synthpop and industrial
All Beauty Destroyed=best album of 2011 and I heard a lot of them too! There's no album that'll top it! Good job guys!

I want to tell you that I've listened to almost everything now of yours and this is by far my favorite song.

Absolutely. When I heard it for the first time, I was like "Whoa, a song off of Pretty Hate Machine that I must have forgotten about. Oh, wait..."
This video is badass on a 50" plasma
