One the best and most underrated courses the RTJ trail. Especially love Loblolly. If you get a chance try Silver Lakes in Northeast Alabama. It’s super challenging at one time Golf Digest had the 22nd hardest course in the country. It being out in the middle of nowhere makes it’s easy to get a tee time and the course is always pretty pure.
@@jakedezgolf I literally saw it right after watching this video 😂😂 love your content especially since I’ve played a lot of the courses you’ve uploaded videos on.
You’re a much better golfer than me, but I feel like we have pretty similar moves. Do you ever get told you’re on the steep side of things / what’s your opinion on changing your swing based on what’s popular at the moment? Any temptation to try and get more shallow and in a super bent position?
Well I have a by definition high hand path but I'm not steep. Steep to me would be how the club is being delivered to the ball in reference to the angle around the low point. You can have that upright path and not be steep thru the ball. And I would never change a swing for any "popular" instruction stuff. Most of it's garbage and it only matters how each individual could improve
I’m a 2 handicap and you are far better than me obviously. I feel like you would play a lot better if you tried to be more positive when talking through your pre shot routines. Ik you are positive overall, sometimes I feel like you just talk about how the stance is hard or it’s an uncomfortable shot. I think those thoughts before you hit are what hurt you sometimes. I’m not taking away from your talent. Ik you would still beat me 10/10 times. Just what I have noticed.
Truly one of the best courses in the state, so clean and the landscape is top notch. Would never think something like that would be in Greenville AL
Very entertaining to watch. I love playing the RTJ courses in Alabama.
The most slept on RTJ course. It stays in perfect shape too.
Highlight of the day. Keep it up, man!
Thanks so much!
Love these vids man. Just being able to watch some good golf is nice. keep up the awesome vids bro 👍
That is a great track. One of the coolest driving ranges as well.
Great video brother, I’m writing down all these hidden gem courses for my future trips lol 💪💯
Anything in AL that’s an RTJ will be a good time! Great courses and lucky to have one here at home
My home course, literally the sleeper course. Hidden gem!
I've got to get there! I have my trail card and have never been to this site before. Looks awesome!
Very relatable start! 🤣
Awesome video, keep grinding!
Back to back lumber isn’t what we planned

Favorite course on the RTJ trail.
I need to make a trip… play the highland’s almost weekly lately.
Stoked to see some RTJ courses. Any plans for magnolia Grove? It's my home course and I would love to see how you play it.
I’d love to come down soon, nothing planned but hopefully soon
great back 9
While have you ever played RTJ OXMOORE VALLEY in Birmingham Alabama its a beautiful course also
would love to see some tips and tricks videos! think your game is smooth and love it.
This is a great course and the Highlands in Dothan Al is just as good shape
Do the whole RTJ trail! I'm in Prattville. Haven't hit Capitol Hill yet, but looking forward to soon.
I'm trying! lost touch with my connection
Should come down to RTJ Highland Oaks in Dothan. 27 hole layout and either combination will work.
I’m sure I’ll be down there soon!
@@jakedezgolf awesome! Let me know if you can!
Yo the side eye 😂😂😂
😂😂
Commenting to end the birdie drought
what is your "quick warm up"? asking for a friend (myself) who usually only gives 15 min to get ready for a tee time on a good day
usually it's 5-10 swings with a 9i, 5i, 3w and just a couple putts if there's time
When do you go to all these nice courses? Always looks like no one is around man. So sick!
When are you coming back to RTJ Silver Lake’s?
Idk hopefully soon!
Where are you from man? We are out of mobile and getting our channel started. Both + handicaps. Would love to link up!
This is my home course and its always in perfect condition because it doesn't get a lot of play best rtj in my opinion

Short game is MINT.
come to oxmoor and play!
wind is fun to break but not that great to play into
how many putters do you have bro😂
🤐
How do you not hit balls before every video? lol
Had to drive 2.5 hours, not a ton of extra time
the best rtj course is silver lakes or the shoals
eff wind
move back a tee box and challenge yourself
Love the less talking
Use me as a dislike button for wind.
