Well, edm ist just the short form of "Electronic dance music", and house is nearly everything of edm. I had the same question and I have no good answer. Some guys said me that it is a mix of melodic house and progressive house... But you can call that kind of music just Alan Walker Style...

you know tobu itro etc. are all good haus producer's, but there i have to pick the ones i like, if i click a video that has the name jjd on it i know it is going to be insanely good, favourite house artist keep it up!
