It'd be like someone else other than RDJ doing Iron Man. Certain actors are just made for the role they were in and any one else would just be lacking in comparison.

Even funnier, the Jar of Dirt scene was not intended to be improv originally. Depp actually tripped and fell, saving the jar, and just rolled with it. You can tell there's confusion because during the "jar of dirt" line, Bloom is looking straight into the camera, almost as if he isn't sure if they should still be going on with the take, lol.

One thing I WILL say about Johnny Depp is, he's not afraid to laugh and have fun with a character. I don't think I have seen Ms. Heard crack a smile through the entire trial....EVEN IN the ridiculous parts.
Working with him must be such a joy. Even his bloopers are great. And you can see how much pleasure he gets from acting too. He is worth every penny, late on set or not.
