With warm weather and no rain, there is nothing like going boating. The Serpentine is in Hyde Park and this is one of the largest parks in London. We went out on a pedalo but rowing boats are available as well.

Now this is a GREAT video - you guys out just having some family fun!! I love it. What a great lake adn the ducks are swimming right along with the boats. But I think there is a method to their plan - maybe they will get tid bits of food from people. Hey, there is even a Swan at 3:50!! Awesome. LOLOL Those boats look like sooo much fun. I would love to ride them. This video was great fun to watch.

In the late 1960s as a teenager I was on a trip with my family and spent a perfect summer afternoon in a small wooden rowing skiff on the Serpentine. It left such an impression on me. It could've been out of an Impressionist painting as an idyllic English pastoral afternoon. Hail Britania.
