After Midnight Session - Stefaan Vanfleteren / Wersi Sonic OAX 600

- Yesterday I stayed up a long time. While it was quiet in the house I started playing and turned on the record button and the cameras. The first "after midnight" session is a fact. I was hesitant to share it on my youtube, but finally decided to do it. Hopefully you like it. Incidentally, after that I was able to fall asleep without any problems. Recommendation : Please listen to this video late at night, with a glass of wine or a good beer :-) . Or early in the morning, with a good coffee ;-)...
(I use only a few sounds : trumpet, sax, piano, violin/strings and the Hammond organ sound at the end. ) - Sorry for the poor video quality, I guess because of the poor light in the room - It was already too late when I noticed it :-)

The lighting only adds to the quiet and calmness of the music. I could loan you. My 8 ft.front room window ,but at this time of night it wouldn’t help much. Excellent medley, Stefaan! You are able to replicate the sound of a jazz trio by using different instrument sounds on the upper and lower registers along with bass on the foot pedals. The Hammond organ sounds are also excellent! I am sure I will also sleep well after listening to these wonderful songs....Will Ortiz

Dankjewel Ruud ! Er zijn tweedehands soms zeer mooie instrumenten te koop voor weinig geld, dus houd dit zeker in de gaten als je graag een Wersi instrument wil.

The combination of that so realistic sounding piano and trumpet is beautiful. IMO, I would turn the Sonic around, in it's spot but facing the opposite direction, to have a view of the yard and light coming from all that glass in your home. The sound you conjured up for Amazing Grace is such a cool sound or as Mike Reed would say, Groovy! Really GREAT Job Stefaan! 😎👍👍😊

Ze zijn zeer inspirerend geweest voor de ontwikkeling van yamaha keyboards zeker vanaf de Tyros4.
Ook de Genos beschikt over heel mooie Wersi
Samples ,pure fun.
Natuurlijk heeft elk merk zijn specifieke sound.
Ik droom natuurlijk ook van een retro Wersi naast mijn Genos.

Dear Stefaan, that was pure joy to listen to and to watch. You really needed to have a modern Instrument beside your vintage-heroes. Since it really enlarges and enhances your toolbox to perform even more diversity. Obviously your musical imagination is huge enough to fit at least ONE more instrument. Thank you so much Michael ! Indeed, the combination of my Atlantis and this OAX instrument is perfect for me, it summarises history and future of Wersi. The steel bucket I do have, but it doesn't fit so nice with my Wersi instruments in my music room, so I keep it where it is now :-)
Beste Stefaan; toen je enkele weken geleden de geschiedenis van Wersi uit de doeken hebt gedaan heb ik nog gezegd dat er niets beter is dan de retro instrumenten van Wersi maar ik moet dit blijkbaar herzien en ja het blijft een droom van mij om er 1 te hebben ik vind het wel spijtig dat de prijs wat hoog is in vergelijking met andere merken; doe het voorlopig met mijn Korg PA4X groeten Frank Bogaerts

Zeer mooi gespeeld, echt nachtelijke sound en sfeer. Zijn de piano en de trompet werkelijk onbewerkt uit de Sonic? Dan is dit toch een apart instrument, en toch ook een Wersi.. Top Stefaan.
Dankjewel Luciano. De trompet (en alle andere blaasinstrumenten) is gewoon het standaard instrument uit de Sonic. Voor de pianoklank (als pianist voor mij toch absoluut belangrijk), gebruik ik de PianoTeq VST plugin. Die installeer je voor een kleine 100 EUR op het instrument, en het geeft je toegang tot Steinway B, Steinway D, enz.
@@StefaanVanfleteren hoi Stefaan, dank voor de toelichting. Klasse die blaasinstrumenten. En voor slechts 100 euro heb je merkbaar inderdaad een zeer goede pianosound aan boord. Top. Die heb ik op mijn instrumenten minder. Kijk gerust maar s op mijn TH-cam kanaal. Grtjs Luc
