To be - isn't really used in the present tense
To have:
у + object pronoun + есть ...
at + object pronoun + is ...

I love having no articles in russian. No „the“, not like German which has so many words for the word „the“

Русский - ethnicity or the name of the language, россиянин - nationality (people who have Russian passport)

Yes, "россиянин" is citizenship. And "русский" is one of the 188 nationalities in Russia.And when you came to Russia, you met a Chechen or a Tatar. If you suddenly tell him "ты русский", he will get angry.
It is strange that in English they did not come up with a separate word to denote citizenship and nationality. In the views of English speakers in Russia, people of the same nationality live who speak the same language. Russian russians, when traveling in Russia, you can go to a place where all the inscriptions are not in Russian, the menu in the cafe is not in Russian.
